Welch Foster. 7.83 .79 4-H Club Girls Learn How to Make Biscuits lip girls of the Lost Cane 4-H Club met at the clubhouse Monday after having had demonstrations given them in accurate measurements of engredicnts used in making biscuits. Each girl brought three biscuits -she had made and these were juds- according to the standard score card by Miss Jocllcuc Vannoy, Ex- terfion specialist in Foods and Nutrition. The bisquitif were scored first according to th? external characteristics which included the shnpe, the crust, and the volume. Then according to the internal characteristics which included th c texture, the grain, and the color. Last, of all. they were scored according to the flavor. Miss Vannoy scored all the biscuits high on flavor but using the entire score card, first place was given to June Veach, second place to Betty Joyce Brinkley, and third place to Fredin Fincher.
