She was a sister, an aunt, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and a friend to many. From humble beginnings in Jenkins, Kentucky, she lost her first husband, Hershel M.

Wright, af ter World War II in a coal mining accident in 1947 and was left with two small children. She met the second true love of her life Robert Stanley a love like no other. They were married 63 years. She and Robert eventually moved to Akron, Ohio in 1952. For the girl who never had a doll, she later in life collected and started making dolls with her beloved business she shared with Robert, Kute Kudley Krafts, which took them all over Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Many of her dolls were sent to loving families worldwide. Some may say she was a doll maker, but to us, she was Mom and Grandma. She was much more than a doll maker she was a seamstress of life, stitching the very fabric of our family. She may have been preceded in death by her own family (father, James Fleming; mother, Vergie Stuart Fleming; and siblings, Rosie, Cassie, Belva, Lexie and Oscar), but the family she quilted was with the love and beliefs she held so dear in life. With quiet, beautiful grace, she touched us all.

Her deep beliefs in God and the love for her church, The Akron Baptist Temple, laid the foundation for what our family was based on. To all that knew her; her lovely laugh, or the scent of her perfume made each and every one of us feel a part of her family. The fine stitch of a nimble hand soothed the soul of all of us. To know her is to love her. From her safe arms, she let us go into the world to find our way and our family has stretched across the United States, but always drawn in by the finite string she wove.

And you always knew you were welcomed home to her biscuits and gravy, her strawberry jam or to have the stains of raspberries wiped from your fingers. She will continue to be loved by the ones who are left: daughters, Shirley (Ron) Harouff, Darlene (Larry) Freeman, Ramona (David) Westfere; and sons, Robert (Shelia) Stanley Rick (Mary Kay) Stanley. And her loving grandkids, Scott, Brett, Janna, Heather, Travis, Mike, Jeremy, Kristal, Rachel, Zachary, Carl, and Nick. And also her loving great-grandkids, Brendan, Maddie, Zane, Jordan, Britni Jane, Skyler, Riley, Jacob, Hunter, Hadyn, and the last little stitch, Liam. We "love you so MomGrandma.

Thank you for the quilt you have woven that has comforted us all.
