18, 2003, at the Heather Knoll Nursing Home. Jerry wasa sensitive and gentle man who livedhis life to itsfull- est. Heen- joyed thewater and recently purchased a place onLake Erie, where he spent timewith his friends. He loved his timewith his family and spent all holidays and family birthdays, graduations, with them. Jerry retired from First National Bank, Trust Department, afternear- ly 35 years of service.

He volunteered his time after retirement to the Fallsview Psychiatric Hospital, and more recently to the Interval Brotherhood Retreat with Father Sam Ciccolini. Jerry was a loving brother of Eileen B. Endress and DonaldFry- berger, who preceded him indeath. He will be dearly missed byhis brother-in-law, Ned R. Endress; nieces and nephews, Susan, Ned II (Sandy), Terry (Gail), and Pat Endress, Mark and Stephen Fryberger, Judy Rainey Baughman, John (Jan) and Tim Rainey.

He also leaves great-nephews, Ned III, Jason (Melissa), Eric and Scott Endress, and great-great-niece and -nephews, Sarah, Jason, and Jacob Endress. He also had many good friends, whom we are sure will join our family in its time of prayer and sorrow. On September 24, 1985 the Good Lord called you home. It was very hard for me to understand at first; I had just seen you a few hours earlier. Then, with the help of Ray, Rev. Hayes, and Dr. Campbell I understood.

Pugliese Born in a small town in southern Italy named Marina di Gioiosa, in the province of Calabria, Louis Pugliese immigrated to America with hispar- ents and his older sister and brother in 1952. The family settled on North Hill in Akron, Ohio where Lou spent his childhood and young adulthood. Hegraduated with honors from The University of Akron with a degree inaccounting and earned his CPAdesignation shortly thereafter. He joined the firm of Ernst Young and spent his entire career with the company.He was in the midst of a highly successful career that took him and his wife and daughters from Akron to Buffalo, NY to Rochester, NY to Syracuse, NY to Miami, FL and finally to Los Gatos, CA wherehe died unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept.

13, 2003 at the age of 52. Lou was bigger than life to everyone that knew him. There was something magical about him that drew others to him wherever he lived. To his family he was a treasure. He was devoted to his wife of 26 years, Athena, and to his two daughters, Stephania, 20 and Eliana, 17.

He loved them so much. They were his source of joy and he was their hero. To his parents and his three brothers and two sisters he was fiercely loyaland always loving and generous. He was also a wonderful uncle and friend to all of his many nieces and nephews. His untimely death leaves a void never to be filled and heavy hearts that will miss him forever.

In addition to his wife, Athena, and daughters, Stephania and Eliana, of Los Gatos, CA, Lou leaves behind to mourn his loss his mother, Rosina of Tallmadge, his mother-in- law, Moskula Charnas of Akron; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Fred Ziegler of Tallmadgeand Lisa and Mike Sullivan of Stowand his brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Amy Pugliese of Bath, Joe and Mary Jo Pugliese of Copley, and Jim and Kalle Pugliese of Stow, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marko and Jeanne Charnas of Marion, Ohio and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Salvatore, and hisfather-in-law, Stephen Charnas.
