He graduated from Rittman High School in 1961 and from the Ohio State University in 1968 with a Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine Degree. He was a practicing veterinarian for 39 years and owned the Seville-Wadsworth West Veterinary Clinic and Veterinary Clinic in Barberton. He was a member of the Zion Conservative Men-nonite Church in Benton. Tom enjoyed his family, horseback riding and was an avid horticulturist and outdoorsman.

Sprole William T. Sprole, 84, of Aurora, Ohio, died Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Hospice of Summa-St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, Ohio. He was born April 13, 1923, in Cranford, New Jersey, and a Hudson and Aurora area resident since 1965. 4 He was Man ager Gov ernment Liaison for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Akron, Ohio, retiring in 1988 after 6b years.

He married Carol Caldwell in Cranford, N.J., February 22, 1944. Mr. Sprole was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Staff Sergeant Paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division, Pacific Theatre, World War II, awarded the Silver Star for Gallantry in action on Luzon, Philippine Islands, on February 10, 1945. He was an active member of Christ Church Episcopal in Hudson for over 42 years.
