Saurer, DVM WADSWORTH Dr. Thomas E. Saurer, DVM, 64, of Wadsworth, died Monday, December 3, r.t Evelyn M. Kalial Evelyn M. Kalial, 84, of Canton, passed away early Monday morning after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Eva Karam and brothers, Charles, Harvey, Dr. James and Frank Karam, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Kalial with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage on November 29; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Khoury of North Canton; grandson and wife Joseph and Janette Khoury; sisters-in-law, Terese Karam of Canton, Doris Karam of Nokomis, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Wayne, 83, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior December 3, 2007. Born in Dart, Ohio to the late Robert and Martha (Stryker) Reed, she had been an Akron resident for over 50 years.

She attended the Southeast Church of the Nazarene in Tallmadge and was a life member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Union Church in Dart, Ohio. Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Joseph, and was the last of 20 children in her family. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph; and daughter, Sister Agnes Rataj.

Sophia Dicintio Jones Sophia Dicintio Jones, 77, born in Akron, Ohio, on January 25, 1930, passed away November 29, 2007, at Akron General Medical Center. Sophia moved to Naples, Florida in 1980, with her husband of 60 years.

She was a nursing assistant at Moorings Park in Naples prior to her retirement. Sophia was a loving wife and most of all of a loving and very caring mother who will be missed more than words can say. Sophia is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. Jones of Akron; daughters, Bobbie Jean Roxberry (LeRoy) of Naples, Diana Richardson (Garry) of Barberton; sons, Robert A. Jones (Becky), Guy S.

Jones (Sandy), and Gregg O. Jones (Pounch) of Virginia. Sophia was a loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. ft He was born August 15, 1943 in Lodi to Harry and Esther (Ramsier) Saurer and was a life resident of Wayne and Medina Counties. He graduated from Rittman High School in 1961 and from the Ohio State University in 1968 with a Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine Degree. He was a practicing veterinarian for 39 years and owned the Seville-Wadsworth West Veterinary Clinic and Veterinary Clinic in Barberton. He was a member of the Zion Conservative Men-nonite Church in Benton. Tom enjoyed his family, horseback riding and was an avid horticulturist and outdoorsman.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou (Hoover) Saurer; children, Joel Saurer of Bloomfield, N.M., Dawn Saurer of Akron, Rhonda (James) Fox of Curtiss, Jessica Saurer of Wadsworth, and Amanda Saurer of Wadsworth; his mother, Esther Saurer of Rittman; grandchildren, Sharla, Stephanie, Chadwin, and Jen-na Fox; brothers, Roger (Sue) Saurer of Smithville and Dan (Brenda) Saurer of Wadsworth; sisters, Marilyn (Ed) Trent of Seville and Joann (Ron) Christian of Rittman. Sprole William T. Sprole, 84, of Aurora, Ohio, died Saturday, December 1, 2007, at Hospice of Summa-St. Thomas Hospital, Akron, Ohio. He was born April 13, 1923, in Cranford, New Jersey, and a Hudson and Aurora area resident since 1965. 4 He was Man ager Gov ernment Liaison for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Akron, Ohio, retiring in 1988 after 6b years.

He married Carol Caldwell in Cranford, N.J., February 22, 1944. Mr. Sprole was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Staff Sergeant Paratrooper with the 11th Airborne Division, Pacific Theatre, World War II, awarded the Silver Star for Gallantry in action on Luzon, Philippine Islands, on February 10, 1945. He was an active member of Christ Church Episcopal in Hudson for over 42 years.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Sprole of Aurora, Ohio; son, William T. (Sue) Sprole III of Bulverde, Texas; grandchildren, Karen and Jeff; great-grandson, Erik; brother, Frank A. Sprole of Darien, Conn. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.
