Mr. Kramer was a member of Temple Beth Sholom in Cherry Hill. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kramer is survived by sons Neil, Eric, Alan, and David; three grandchildren, and a brother.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in Crescent Burial Park, Westfield and Union Avenues, Pennsauken. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Leukemia Society, 600 Third New York, N.Y. 10016; or the American Heart Association, 600 White Horse Pike, Audubon, N.J., 08106. Mr.

Kramer was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and raised in Philadelphia, where he graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1949. After spending one year at Pennsylvania State University, he transferred to Temple University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in. 1953, his master's in 1959 and his doctorate in 1973. At Temple, he was a member of the Kappa Phi Kappa Honor Society and Pi Gamma Mu, an academic excellence society. Mr.

Kramer started teaching English and social studies at South Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1953. He moved to Huntingdon Junior High School in Abington from 1957 to 1962, then to Abington High School in 1962-63. "He loved people and loved helping them to learn," said Marlene Klein Kramer, his wife of 47 years. "He thought that self-esteem was critical to a child's success in education and tried to instill that feeling into all of his students." heart transplant survivor I More obituaries on B7. transplant, there is no chance." van Zyl's surgery, his ailing heart stopped beating and the anesthetist said he was dead. Barnard revived him and completed the transplant. Mr. van Zyl, who was white, received the heart of a mixed-race man who died in a fall from a tree. Under apartheid laws at the time of the operation, he would have been unable to receive treatment in the same hospital as his donor.

About 3,500 transplants are currently performed each year, mostly in the United States. The survival rate for the first year exceeds 90 percent. town, died of cancer Sunday at his parents' home. Mr. Feulner learned 10 months ago that he had cancer.

"He had so much courage in his illness and in his life," said his mother, Elaine Thompson Feulner. Mr. Feulner had a learning disability. He attended the Swenson Skill Center via a program at Kensington High School and graduated in 1986. After graduating from high school, he attended the Orleans Technical School and in 1991 graduated as a plumber.

He worked as a plumber for a short time before he was laid off. Mr. Feulner then worked as a clerk at CoreStates Bank and as a cook at Pizza Hut until he became too ill to work. "Some kids look to their parents as their hero. I consider my son my hero," said his father, George II.

He was a fighter pilot in the Viet, nam War and later the top U.S. com' mander in Japan. A resident of Arlington, Gen. Donnelly was born in Barberton, Ohio, and joined the Air Force as an aviation cadet in 1951 after his graduation from Otterbein College in1 Westerville, Ohio. He became a pilot the following year.

In August 1981, Gen. Donnelly was named commander of the Fifth Air, Force and commander of all U.S. forces in Japan and Korea. This made him the senior U.S. military representative in Japan.

In 1984, he moved to Ramstein Ait Base in Germany as commander in chief of U.S. and NATO air forces in Europe. He retired from that post in 1987. Survivors: his wife, Carolyn daughter, Linda E. Wieland; two sisters, and two grandchildren.

Mr. Kramer, a resident of Cherry Hill, retired from Glassboro State College (now Rowan College) in 1991. He taught at Jersey City State College for one semester before being hired at Glassboro in 1963. "He was among the most humanistic and supportive teachers I've ever met," said Marion Rilling, a Rowan professor of education who started teaching there the same year Mr. Kramer arrived.

The Rev. Donald V. Heim, 67, of St. Veronica Parish in Hunting Park, died Tuesday at Nazareth Hospital. Born in Washington, Father Ileim attended schools in Washington and Berwyn.

He graduated from St. Katharine High School in Wayne before entering St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Overbrook. He was ordained in 1964 at the Catherdral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.

Father Heim served as associate pastor at the following churches in Philadelphia: St. Henry Church, Our Lady of the Holy Souls Church, Our Lady of Mercy and the Visitation Blessed Virgin Mary Church. He was also associate pastor at St. Joseph Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Swarthmore and St. Joseph Church in Collingdale.

He was associate director of the Catholic Youth Organization in the Southeast Delaware County District and served as chaplain at Little Flower High School. In 1977, he went to the Diocese of Dodge City, and served as hospital chaplain and then pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He returned to Philadelphia in 1989 and was assigned as assistant pastor of St. Joseph Church in Collingdale. In 1991, Father Heim became a resident at St.

Curtis, 23, artist, musician ASSOCIATED PRESS PROVINCETOWN, Mass. Nicholas B. Curtis, 23, son of actor Tony Curtis, has died after suffering a seizure. Mr. Curtis was sleeping at a friend's house when he had the seizure Saturday, said Jennifer Walsh, a secretary for Tony Curtis.

Nicholas Curtis also had a seizure about a month ago and was undergoing tests to, determine the cause, Walsh said. State Police Trooper Paul White said no foul play was suspected. He said emergency workers responded early Saturday to a report of someone choking. Mr. Curtis was pronounced dead at 9:15 a.m.

He lived on Cape Cod and was a student at the School of the Museum Fine Arts in Boston. A keyboard musician and artist who painted and drew in all mediums, he also wrote poetry and had minor parts in some films.
