The autopsy was performed by Daniel J. Condon, Maricopa County medical examiner. Pinal County Sheriff Coy DeArman said there were powder burns on the victim's head, indicating either suicide or a shot at very close range.

The dead man is believed to )e Walter. Mawry, a Denver machinist who been missing the area since 'Feb. 24. Jack Chapman, a friend of Mawry's rom Denver, made positive iden- of the victim's gun and clothing yesterday, although he could not identify the body. The'body, was discovered Tuesday by two prospectors, John earce, 78, and Harold Moulton, 0, the Weaver's Needle area.

The area around the peak, in the vicinity of the fabled Dutchman gold mine, has been the scene of numerous deaths and slayings. Mawry's car was found three ago in the area and towed jut. Welsh Here's Man Who Loves His Job LONDON (AP)-Conductor Fred Sharp stepped off his Ramsgate- London train yesterday to warm his hands over the waiting room fire at a station in Deal. Noting that all the train doors were 'closed, the platform guard waved the train on. Sharp came steaming out of the station, seized the platform guard's bicycle and pedaled furiously off along a country lane- to catch up.

At Martin Mill, the next station 4 miles on, the engineer discovered he was conductorless. After he had waited 23 minutes Sharp rode up, exhausted but triumphant. North Carolina City To Ballot On Liquor RALEIGH, N.C. (UPI)-The North Carolina legislature yesterday authorized the city of Sanford to hold a wet-dry election. But the legislature specified there would have to be separate ballots on the proposed sale of beer, wine and whisky.
