Williams, a former pastor of the Church of God, Arcadia, left here with his wife in October to be pastor of a church near Marion.

The social committee, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rigsby and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Achenbach, made announcements concerning future meetings, and various projects were discussed.

It was decided to have an attendance with Alvin Hunter and Weldon Miller captain of the teams. The meeting was closed with prayer by Donald Eller. Present were Messrs, and Mesdames Harold Rigsby, Robert Mussleman, Wayne Miller, Donald Eller, Everett Webb, Robert Hughes, Harold Achenbach, Delbert Leach, Delbert Etchison, Walter Mosbaugh, Alvin Hunter and Cleve McCarty. Mrs. Cleve McCarty is teacher of the class.

Officers were elected at a recent meeting of Jackson Central Parent- Teachers association. They are: President, J. Ralph Bishop; first vice-president, Mrs. Wayne Ehman; second vice-president, Mrs. John Hughes; third vice-president, Mrs.

Lowell Brehm; secretary- treasurer, Georgianna Horine. Calvin Hiatt, president, presided, and Rev. Fred Gilbert, pastor of Cicero. Christian church, was in charge of devotions. Mrs.

Chet Mosbaugh was chairman of the Founders-day program, and Mrs. David Douglas explained the PTA emblem and also read a poem, "A Founders Day Wish," and Mrs. Mabel Knapp gave the history of Founders day. Elmer Williams, Arcadia business man, has been confined to his home because of illness for the past week. The Arcadia Methodist church will present one hour of music Sunday evening, March 18, in the church.

The children, adult choir and ladies' sextette of the church will take part in the program, which will be open to the public. Mr. and Mrs. Don Kinder and family visited Mr. and Mrs.

Neal Lorenz, of Ripple, recently. Mrs. Delia Applegate, of Cicero, visited John Unger and Amanda Weer, Arcadia, Friday afternoon. Mrs. Florence Winders was returned home from Tipton Memorial hospital Sunday and is reported to be recovering satisfactorily.

Mrs Nell Ryan, of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Glenn Drumm visited Mrs. Winders Saturday evening. Mrs. Charles Raquet, Arcadia has been returned home from Riv erview hospital, Noblesville, where she underwent surgery.

Her daughter, Miss Irene Raquet, was off work a few days caring for her mother. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Quear returned home Saturday evening from Phoenix, where they spent two months with their daughter, Mrs. Robert West, and family.

and Mrs. Frank Landes, west of Arcadia. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hartley, of Kokomo, visited Sunday with their parents, Mrs.

Minnie Arcadia, and Mr. and Mrs. Immanuel Hartley, Cicero. Mrs. Arthur Leininger, of Tipton, who has been ill for several weeks following a stroke of paralysis, is reported to be slightly improved.
