A funeral Mass was conducted Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday after 2:30 p.m. at the George R.

GEORGE J. SCHREINER A lifelong resident of McHenry, George J. Schreiner, formerly of 1503 N. Court street, died Saturday, May 10, in McHenry hospital. He was 90 years old, born in McHenry Aug.

29, 1889, the son of William and Mary (Kerling) Schreiner. Mr. Schreiner was a retired butcher and had worked for the Pries Meat Market in McHenry. He was an honorary life member of McHenry Council 1288 Knights of Columbus. His wife.

Katherine (Pilzen) Schreiner preceded him in death Sept. 12, 1975. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank; three sisters, Anna, Catherine and Margaret. A niece, Caroline May of Wautoma, survives. A funeral Mass was conducted at St.

Patrick's Catholic church Tuesday, 11 a with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, at the Peter M. Justen Son funeral home.

HELEN S. SMITH Mrs. Helen Smith, 86, 3214 E. Lake Shore drive. Wonder Lake, died Saturday.

May 10, at Crystal Pines Nursing home, Crystal Lake. She was born in Germany Sept. 24, 1893, to John and Marie Stutzke. Her husband, Julius, preceded her in death in 1965. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs.

William (Marian) Dannehy of Wonder Lake; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Kraemer of Glendale Heights and a brother, Albert Stutzke of River Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Marlha, Theresa and Leona and two brothers, Paul and Al. Visitation was held from 3 lo 9 p.m. Monday, at Freund funeral home.

Wonder Lake. A funeral Mass was scheduled Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic NANCY RUDD Nancy Rudd, 14, of 9001 W. Ramble road, Wonder Lake, died of injuries sustained in a pick-up truck-car collision in Chicago early Sunday morning, May 11. Nancy was an eighth grader at Northwood Junior high school, where she was active in sports and other activities.

Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rudd; a brother, Phillip, 16; and a sister, Jeri Lynn, 13. The body rests at the Cooney chapel in Woodstock until 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, when the Rev. Lloyd Corberl of the Church of God, Round Lake, will officiate at last rites.

JOSEPH MILLER A lifetime resident of the Johnsburg area, Joseph Miller, 77, 2108 Church street, Johnsburg, died at his home Friday, May 9, after a short illness. He was born Nov. 1, 1903, in the John-sburg-McHenry area, to Mathias and Elizabeth Sch-mitt. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church; a dairy farmer during his early life and later became a brick layer and was employed by George Hiller company for over 30 years.

He was married June 5, 1929, at St. Peter's Catholic church in Spring Grove, to Martin McCormack and Leslie Nielsen of Marian Central Catholic high school attended the 1980 Illinois Association of Student Councils' convention held May 8, 9 and 10 at the Pick-Congress hotel, Chicago. The convention included speakers, visits from political figures, and discussion and seminar groups. The annual awards banquet and investiture of officers Friday night climaxed three days of learning and leadership activities. McCormack has been active in Marian Student Council for one year and has participated in activities such as cross country, student council committees.
