SPORTS TUESDAY 4-E Tuesday, March 4, 1986 The Philadelphia Inquirer Preparing for the World Cup TRACK FIELDGrand Prix winners with West Germany coming out with a 2-1 victory that showed only that the West Germans were the better mudders of the two. Spain has beaten two other World Cup finalists, and East Germany, which failed to qualify for the World Cup finals, has beaten three teams that did qualify. This month's feature match is a meeting between Brazil and West Germany in Frankfurt, West Germany, on March 12. Argentina will play France in Paris on March 26. All of the World Cup finalists have begun their preparations for the May 31-June 29 tournament in Mexico, and 21 of 24 teams have played at least one full international a match between two national teams since the start of the year.
