At an early age, Robert moved to Phiia. and became a mernber of Gal nee Baptist Church in Roxborough. He was a very ambitious person. He began working at Container Corp. of America, there moving on to his own landscaping business and hnav becoming the successful owner and operator of Red Devil's Cave in Phua.

He be sadly missed by aN who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memories 4 children, Robert L. Robertson, Adrienne King, Steven Robertson and Brent hts cherished loved ones, Louise and Rahim his father and step-mother, Roscoe and Jenny Robertson; 6 brothers, James Robertson, Joe Robertson, David Robertson, Roscoe Robertson. Monday, March 24, 1986 He started with W3XE, an experimental television station in Philadelphia, in 1941, and during his career was involved with the production of many live events, including sports activities and transmissions from an airplane. Survivors: his wife, Zelinda; two sons, Alexander Elefante and Anthony Elefante; a daughter, Pearl Coleman; a brother; six grandchil dren, and one great-grandchild. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at the Robert L. Anjolell Memorial Home, 2811 Westchester Pike, Broomall.

Burial will be at Lawn Croft Ceme tery, Lynwood. Dr. J. James Pegues, 57, died Saturday at Temple University Hospital. He had lived in Moorestown and practiced in Mount Holly.

A native of Chicago, Dr. Pegues was a graduate of the University of Chicago and the Northwestern University Medical School. He served his residency at the University of Penn sylvania Hospital. Before opening his practice, Dr. Pegues was chief of neurology at Memorial Hospital of Burlington County in Mount Holly and at Zur- brugg Memorial Hospital in River side.

He was also a neurologist on the staff of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He also was a clinical instructor at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills and at the University of Pennsylvania. He was medical director at Githens Cerebral Palsy Cen ter in Mount Holly. He was secretary of the Burlington County Medical Society, and a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of New Jer sey and the Philadelphia Neurological Society. Survivors: his wife, Catherine; two sons, David and Joseph; a daughter, Margaret Broome, and two grand children.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, West Main Street, Moorestown. Burial will be private. Josephine E. Dugan, 92, the owner of St.

Regis Guest House in Atlantic City for more than half a century, died Friday at her home in East Lans- downe. She ran the guest house from 1930 until 1982 before retiring. The former Josephine Reardon, Mrs. Dugan was a native of Philadel phia and lived in Atlantic City for 50 years before moving to East Lans- downe 25 years ago. Her husband, Thomas R.

He won his first elective office in 1932, becoming state attorney general by a substantial majority despite Roosevelt's carrying Ohio for the Democrats. In 1938, he won his first term as governor. When he took office as governor, he faced a $40 million deficit.

He reorganized the machinery of government, dismissed 3,000 employees, abolished deficit financing, put the state on a pay-as-you-go basis, bal- off the deficit. By Jan. 1, 1944, without increasing taxes, his administration had succeeded in repaying the debt in full and building a S74 million surplus. His wife, the former Harriet Day, died June 1, 1985. He had lived in Oxford, since 1965 after moving there from Fort Washington after his retirement. He was valedictorian of the Class of 1917 of the Episcopal Academy and a 1921 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. After working for Bell Telephone for five years, he joined the family business, Pringle Electrical, which was begun in 1891. He retired in 1965, but remained on the company's board of directors. He was a member of various electrical manufacturing associations and served as treasurer and on the board of governors of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association.

He was a member of the Franklin Institute, the Engineers Club of Philadelphia and the International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
