St. Paul's Church in Chestnut Hill was the setting Saturday for the marriage of Miss Carolyn Ellen Sagendorph to Mr. William Henry Scheid Jr. The 2 o'clock, ceremony wai performed by the Rev. Tom Turney Edwards and a reception followed at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Lyons Sagendorph, of Wyndmoor. Mr. Scheid's parent! are Mr: and Mrs.

William H. Scheid, of Oreland. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory peau de soie gown with long sleeves and a cathedral length train. She carried gardenias and stephanotis. Miss Joan M.

Sagendorph was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids included Miss Ellen R. Bromley, Miss Ann Clifford Boothby, Miss Rosa Townsend Blankin, all of Chestnut Hill; Miss Leslie HaH Ford, of Wyndmoor; Miss Martha B. Felton, of Abing-ton, cousin of the bride, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Sally Ann Scheid. The attendants wore pale green brocade gowns and their headpieces and bouquets consisted of yellow and coral flowers. Serving as best man was Mr.

Stephen Null Schade, of Ambler. Ushers were Mr. Andrew Taylor Scheid, brother of the bridegroom; Mr. Stuart A. McFarland, of Wyncote; Mr.

C. Kenneth Dunn of Cherry Hill; Mr. Robert Zimmer, of Lafayette Hill; Mr. Richard Deats, of Jenkintown, and Mr. David Rulon and Mr.

Harold Gifford, both of Philadelphia. An alumna of the Springside School, the bride attended Colby Junior College. A debutante of the 1967 season, she is the granddaughter of Mrs. Daniel J. Whiteman, of Jenkintown, and the late Mr.

Whiteman, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd A. Sagendorph, of Philadelphia. Mr.

Scheid was graduated from the William Perm Charter School and attended Washington and Jefferson College. He is the grandson of Mrs. Henry J. Scheid, of Fort Lauderdale, and the late Mr. Scheid, and the late Mr.

and Mn. M. C. Taylor, of McKeesport, Pa. After a wedding trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in Chestnut Hill.

Miss Virginia Eoykin Riddle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Marion Riddle Jr. of Ambler, was msrried Friday evening to Mr. 3ric Garfield Pearson, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Forrest Garfield Pearson, of Phoenix, ind Philadelphia. The Rev. Robert M. Wainwright, former archdeacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, performed the 5:30 P.

John F. Pilling of Chestnut Hill, was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. William H. Moor-house of Charlottesville, Miss Ellen H.

Worrall and Miss Kristin a Olson, of Chestnut Hill; Miss Rosalie M. Pearson, sister of the bridegroom; Mrs. Bert G. Kerstet-ter, of New Haven, and Miss Tolise McLean, of Boston. Mrs.

St. John Smith, also of Boston, was an honorary bridesmaid. The attendants wore red velvet Empire gowns and single wreaths of ivy and red roses for headpieces. They carried candles surrounded by gardenias and roses. Mr.

WILKS BLOODWORTH The marriage of Miss Sharon Bemice Bloodworth to Mr. John Theodore Wilks of Philadelphia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilks, of Pittsburgh, took place Saturday afternoon in Larchmont Methodist Church, Norfolk, Va. The bride's uncle, the Rev.

Marcus Herring Bloodworth, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Ro-scoe C. Johnson. A reception followed at Breezy Point Officers' Club. The bride, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Jesse Bloodworth, of Norfolk, attended Old Dominion College in Norfolk. Mr. Wilks is an alumnus of Cornell University and served in the U. S.

Of interest to Philadelphians was the wedding Saturday in Pittsburgh of Miss Margaret O'Toole to Mr. Albert R. Hunt Jr. son of Dr. and Mrs.

Hunt, of Devon. The 2 o'clock ceremony was performed in Sacred Heart Church, Pittsburgh, and a reception followed at Churchill Valley Country Club. The bride, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Richard R.

O'Toole, of Pittsburgh, wore an ivory satin gown designed with beaded bodice and train and a matching headpiece held her illusion veil. Mrs. Laurence A. Bianchi was matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids included 'another sister of the bride, Miss Mary Pat O'Toole; Miss Mary R. Hunt, sister of the bridegroom; Mrs.

John A. Carroll and Miss Virginia McCarthy. The attendants wore Empire gowns of rose velveteen with jeweled collars. Dr. Hunt served as his son's best man.

Ushers were Mr. William D. L. Hunt and Mr. Philip St.

George Hunt, brothers of the bridegroom; Mr. Richard R. O'Toole brother of the bride; the bridegroom's cousin, Mr. James Henry Hunt 4th; Mr. James M.

Richard P. Flavin. The bride attended Duquesne University and was graduated from the Katharine Gibbs School in New York. An alumnus of the Haver ford School and Wake Forest University, Mr. Hunt attended New York University Gradu ate School.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Carl W. Grim, of Or ange, and the late Mr. William D. Lillard, and of the late Mr.

James Cameron and Mrs. David de Wilde. Mr. John F. Adams, brother of the bride, was best man.

Ushers were Mr. James Cameron, Mr. Daniel Murphy 3d, Mr. Turrey Kepler, Mr. Harold Kane and Mr.

Wayne Thomas. The bride attended Mount Olivet School in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is an alumna of Mount St. Dominic's Academy, Caldwell, N. and Ca-brini College. She made her debut in 1961 at the Archbishop Boland Presentation Ball in Newark.

Mr. DiFilippo was graduated cum laude from Villanova University, received a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and also is an alumnus of Villanova University School of Law. After a Caribbean cruise, the couple will reside in Bala-Cynwyd. JACOBS O'DONNELL Miss Margaret Elizabeth O'Donnell and Mr. David George Jacobs were married Saturday morning in the Church of St.

Thomas of Villa nova. A reception followed at the General Wayne Inn, Merion. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eu gene Francis O'Donnell, of Merion.

Mr. Jacobs' parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Jacobs, of Springfield, Dela ware County. An alumna of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova and Trinity College in Washington, the bride is at tending Villanova University, Mr.

Jacbobs, who was gradu ated from Archmere Academy and attended Catholic Univer sity of America, is studying at St. Joseph's College. The couple win reside in Springfield. MARKEL FISCHER The marriage of Miss Ann Stuart Fischer to Mr. James Craig Markel took place Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Germantown.
