a beautiful wedding on Saturday, June 5, when Miss Adrienne Fontaine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Slimp of 5815 S. Chicago, became the bride of Mr. Edward Steadman, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Edward Steadman, of 322 S. Sheridan Road, McHenry. Rev. Fr.

Eugene Baumhofer officiated at the 11:30 Mass which united the couple in marriage. Miss Fontaine walked down the aisle, lovely in a silk organza and chantilly lace dress, with bustle in back. The dress featured long, pointed sleeves adorned with pearls and sequins and a hoop skirt, with train attached. Her veil was held in place by a crown of pearls and sequins. She wore a -shaped locket and carried a large bouquet of white carnations.

Acting as maid of honor was Lorraine Steadman, sister of the groom, and bridesmaids were Sue Steadman, another sister, and Sharon Fontaine, sister of the bride. Janice Steadman was flower girl and James Steadman acted as ring bearer. The adult attendants wore floor length dresses of taffeta. styled with hoop skirts, and huge net umbrella hats in matching color. The maid of honor was in pale yellow and carried a cascade of yellow carnations, while the bridesmaids chose aqua and carried white carnations tipped with aqua.

The little flower girl wore a short yellow chiffon dress, full skirt and bustle in back and a yellow bow in her hair. She carried a basket of white carnations. Harold Foss, of McHenry served as best man and groomsmen were John Boyle of McCullom Lake and George Loser of McHenry. Donald Kibbe was usher. The bride's mother wore a beige sheath with lace coat, matching accessories and corsage of white carnations.

Mrs. Steadman was attired in a pink suit, white accessories and white rose corsage. A wedding breakfast was served to thirty guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Foss.

Later, 100 friends and relatives gathered at the Chicago Midway House for a reception. After a trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the couple will reside in Chicago. Richmond Road, who died Sunday evening, June 6, in Memorial Hospital, Woodstock.

She was 74 years of age. The deceased was born Oct. 27, 1890, in McHenry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Weber.

Mrs. Simon was a member of the Woman's Catholic Order of Foresters, Riverview Camp, R.N.A., the Catholic Daughters of America and the Christian Mothers Sodality. She is survived by her husband, Herbert, to whom she was married forty-seven years ago; seven children, Mrs. Robent (Kathryn) Wayman of Arlington Heights, Mrs. James (Isabelle) Thompson of MeHenry, Mrs.

The wife, Beta, had returned from her work at the Admiral plant and found her husband dead. Sheriff's deputies were summoned and found the ignition key turned on but the car was not running.

Mrs. Lombardo last saw her husband Tuesday morning, -but was not concerned as he often remained in Chicago in connection with his work as a liquor salesman. Neighbors said they saw him as late as 11:30 Wednesday morning. when he picked up mail from the box near his home. The deceosed was born June 9, 1911, in Chicago.

18, 1886, in Chicago, and was married Sept. 27, 1913, to Otto Buetow, who died in 1936. Survivors are a daughter. Mrs. Florence Bell of Wonder Lake: two sisters, Bertha Weith and Ella Borck of Chicago.

(HARLES JORGENSON Charles E. Jorgenson, 75, of 3508 N. Oakdale Road, Johnsburg, died Monday, June 7, in McHenry hospital. Mr. Jorgenson was born in Chicago April 1, 1890, and was a steamfitter by trade.

He belonged to Local 597, Pipefitters Union. Survivors are his widow, Augusta; two sons, William and Robert, both of McHenry; four grandchildren; one greatgrandchild and two sisters. Justen Son funeral home, with burial in Acacia Park, Chicago, THOMAS POKORNY Graveside rites were held Tuesday in Transfiguration cemetery, Wauconda, for Thomas Pokorny, infant son of Robert and Catherine Pokorny of Wauconda, formerly of Island Lake. The baby, who was born Saturday of last week in Condell Memorial hospital, Libertyville, died Sunday, June 6.

Mrs. Verna Schlofner offered appropriate organ selections. The lovely young bride came down the aisle accompanied by her father, who gave her in marriage. Her floor length gown was of white lace over taffeta with a scalloped neckline and tiers of lace on the skirt, ending in a chapel train. On her head, she wore a crown of pearls with a bouffant veil and carried white carnations.

Mrs. Dorothy Gibson served her sister as matron of honor. The bride's other sister, Mrs. Lucille Ritter, was bridesmaid. Four-year-old Cathy Kopsell, the bride's niece, was adorable in her role of flower girl.

Sheer aqua organza over taffeta street length dresses were chosen by the attendants, which featured bell skirts. They wore flowers on their heads, with blusher veils. and used matching accessories. The colonial bouquets were tions. The flower girl was dressed in white and carried a basket of flowers.

Richard Miller of Oak Park served as best man, groomsman was Neil Campbell of Salem, N. and James Liston of Woodstock served as usher. The bride's mother wore a street length. dress of medium blue lace with white accessories. Mrs.

Murray chose a blue green silk print with a sleeveless jacket effect and white ac- CYNTHIA SCHULTZ IS DELEGATE TO FHA CONFERENCE The Illinois Association of the Future Homemakers of America will hold their nineteenth State Leadership Conference June 17 through June 19-at Illinois State University at 'Normal. Cynthia Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Schultz, McHenry, has been selected by the Section 21 chapter of the Future Homemakers of America as a delegate to this conference. Cynthia will be a senior at McHenry high school and will hold the office of president in her FHA chapter.

"Future Homemakers of America is a national organization of studying home economics in junior and senior high schools. In their chapter activities, they work toward the. over -all goal of helping individuals' improve personal, family, and community living. The three day conference is planned and carried out by the teenagers to help develop leadership abilities and become acquainted with the new national objectives. The Illinois Association has a membership of 30,085 memberg in 580 high schools.

pea Mrs. Charlotte Carlisi, 74, who made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Antoinette DiMaggio, at 5510 Cleveland Avenue, West Shore Beach, for eighteen months, died early Tuesday; June 8, in McHenry hospital. She had been confined there for only a few hours. Mrs.

Carlisi was born in Italy Nov. 5, 1890. The body was taken to the Peter M. Justen Son funeral home in McHenry and then removed to the Montclair chapel at 6901 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago, for final arrangements.
