he entered the University of IL to study business He continued his business education at Bryant Stratton Business College, where he met his wife, Eva Dinelli. Immediately after his graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army to serve in WWII. As a Master Sargent, he was in the battalion that aided in the liberation of Dacau. Later as a prominent businessman and resident of Deerfield, he served as the President of the Little League.

His major contribution as President was in the area of finance. Louis was also a charter member of Tenaqua, a tennisswim club in Deerfield, In 1959 he oined Thorngate CC. During his 30 years as a member, he served as President for 2 terms. He also served in the Chicago District Golf Association for six years. Continuing in his financial interests and strengths, he became a Trustee of both the First National Bank of Deerfield and Lincolnshire.

Recently, he has been doing consultant work. He is survived by his wife. Eva; their four children. Mickie (David) Peradotti, Jo Marie (Dennis) Yonkus. Louis Joseph (Sandra) Maiorano Jr.
