Frank Weis were pleasantly surprised recently when relatives drove in and surprised (hem, staying and visiting several days. Stemper's wife died and Mrs. Handing's husband died, the brother and sister live together in Exeter. The Stemper family lived south of Burchard on a farm. They along with Mr. and Mrs.

Frank Weis visited with Mrs. James Raitora in the home of her daughter, Nora (Mrs. Charles Wenzl), north of Pawnee City, before going to Sevvard on Sunday, June 12, to' visit other relatives. Returns to Sallna Mrs. Val Borden and children left Wednesday for their home in Sauna, after spending a here in the L.

C. Borden home. Miss Golda Kramer of Beatrice spent several days here with her grandparents, while her parents. Mr. and Mrs.

C. L. Mittan, who underwent survey about four weeks ago, is making a good reocvery. Mrs. Mary Snyder has been on the sick list again but is improved.

Mrs. Lorena Warner has returned to her home at Perry, after a visit at the Dr. E. A. Warner home.

Visit In Washington Mrs. Jennie Closs and her sister, Mrs. Maggie Closs, of Wymore left last Wednesday for Clarkston, to attend the golden wedding of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Will Jones.
