HTHE PHILADELPHIA' INQUIRER, TUESDAY MORNING, APRIL1 26, 1904; Si STRAWBRIDGE CLOTHIER STRAWBRIDGE CLOTHIER I STRAWBRIDGE CLOTHIER An Extraordinary Exhibit of Oriental Rugs in Carpet Sizes THE MOST NOTABLE DISPLAY OF PERSIAN CARPETS EVER SEEN IN PHILADELPHIA To-day, and for the next two days, we shall show the largest and finest collection of Persian Carpet Rugs this city has ever seen, and one of the most notable ever exhibited in this country a collection which for extent, variety and artistic beauty probably could not be matched from the combined stocks of any three other stores In Philadelphia. Every rug in this collection is for sale there are ho "exhibition" pieces and which is even more interesting from the buyer's standpoint THESE SUPERB RUGS ARE OFFERED AT ABOUT ONE-HALF USUAL PRICES This exhibit should be seen by every lover of Oriental art. and will be especially Interesting to connoisseurs. Scores of magnificent pieces are hungup at full-length under soft lights that bring out their wondrous beauty avenues of textile loveliness. Our purpose in making this special display of Rugs worth close to half a million dollars is to demonstrate to Philadelphia rug-buyers that thereay be seen in their own city a stock of Oriental Rugs of the very highest character that has no superior in America while a glance" at the price-tickets will show that the money-savings are entirely unprecedented.
