Mike Grensky said he kept his wife supplied with spare parts and tires for years. "Flo could run a car farther on fumes than anyone I know," he said.

Friends and family will remember Mrs. Grensky as always being at the helm of holiday cooking. Her sense of humor is said to have spiked each Christmas Eve when family and guests would receive one of her silly garage sale surprises for clearing their plates which always included a taste of her homemade traditional Swedish dishes. "Aunt Flo never spent more" than a quarter, but she always made sure there were more gifts -than people," Seglem said. Mrs.

Grensky also was active in the Elburn Quivera Club, Country Gals and Buzz Club. Through the years, Mrs. sky was employed by the Kane-i' land School District 302 at Maple Park and Kaneville Schools. She' also worked in the law offices of; Redman, Shearer Gorecki, and; was a bookkeeper at Davidson' Dodge. Besides her husband, survivors include a brother.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Conley Funeral i Home, 116 W. Pierce Elburn. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

By Joan Giangrasse Kates Tribune Staff Writer Florence "Flo" Grensky, 80, of Aurora, formerly of Elburn, a stock car driver who raced at the Santa Fe Speedway near Willow Springs for many years, died Wednesday at Mercy Center Ho pital in Aurora. Born in Lily Lake, 111., Mrs. Grensky's love of stock cars began in the early 1950s, when, as a spectator, she would attend races to watch friends who were competing. It wasn't long before she became one of the best-known stock car race drivers in the Chicago area, once being interviewed on the Lee Phillip TV show, said her nephew, Roy Seglem. Zambole Sr. Nicholas M. Zambole 85, a resident of Palatine for 27 years, died Wednesday in Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. Born in Chicago, he was a self-employed advertiser. Mr.

Ela Barrington. Margaret Trumph Rohrbach Margaret Trumph Rohrbach, 74, of Palatine, died Thursday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. Mrs. Rohrbach, a homemaker, was born in Irwin, Ohio. She is survived by two sons, Frank Trumph and John Trumph; a stepson, Jim Rohrbach; a brother; two sisters; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Lutheran Church, 630 S. Quentin Palatine, followed by services at 11 a.m. Wallace L. Brush Wallace L.

Brush, 67, a longtime resident of Des Plaines, died Wednesday in his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Brush was an engineer with Lucent Technologies. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Petri-cia; two sons, Anthony and David; a daughter, Elizabeth Speltz; a brother; a sister; and four grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Zachary Catholic Church, 567 W. Algonquin Des Plaines.

Randy W. Heron Randy W. Heron, 17, of Arlington Heights, died Thursday in Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Heron, who was born in Des Plaines, was a member of the Elk Grove High School cross-country team.

Affrunti was a resident of Lombard for 23 years and was formerly of Oak Park. He was an insurance agent for Sun Life Insurance of America for 15 years. Saturday in the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Aurora. Joseph S. Chlysta Joseph S. Chlysta, 82, formerly of Berwyn and Lisle, died Wednesday at ManorCare nursing home in Naperville.

Mr. Chlysta served in the Civilian Conservation Corps and retired as an assistant pressman for R.R. Donnelley Sons. Survivors include two daughters, Geri Schumacher and Georgianna Semetulkus; several brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren. A memorial mass will be said at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Nicol was a resident' of Lombard for 51 years. She was born and raised in Glen Ellyn. She graduated from Illinois State University, Normal, in 1933. Nicol taught grade school in Ames, Iowa, for several years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Survivors include a son, John; a-daughter, Patricia Abell; four; grandchildren; and two grandchildren. Born in Geneva, Thompson served in the during World War II and was a survivor of the attack on Pearl 8 Harbor.

At the time of his retire-1 ment, Mr. Thompson was the owner of Oscar M. Thompson" Plumbing and Heating in Geneva.
