For the last 25 years, she was a life member of the singles' chapter of the Sisterhood of B'nai B'rith Women. SJj was past president of that group and also helped with fund-raising events and the speakers' bureau. She was active in support groups for' widows and widowers and in raising funds for Israel.

She also was involved with Great Books, a classic literature reading club. Survivors: daughters, Marilyn evin. Stephanie and Beatrice, a sr.indchild; sisters, Mildred Mesirov and Natalie Cohen, and brother, Arnold Cohen. Services: 1 p.m. today, Levine Sctos Memorial Chapel, 7112 N.

Broad interment, Roosevelt Memorial iyk, Northeast Philadelphia. Irwin Berman, 90, a Center City businessman for 55 years, died Friday at lnkenau Hospital. He lived in Penn Wynne. Mr. Berman was born in the Soviet and moved to the United Slates as a child.

Self-taught, he worked in a department store before going into business for himself. In he became owner and operator cf National Stationers Office Furniture on Arch Street. Mr. Berman retired in 1978 and gave his sons the business, now in North Philadelphia. Mr.

Berman was a past master of Columbia Lodge No. 91 Free and Associated Masons, a member of Radnor Valley Country Club and B'nai B'rith and an avid golfer who won several trophies in club tournaments. Survivors: his wife, Fay Tanen-baum Berman; sons, Marvin and Arnold; seven grandchildren; two gfeat-grandchildren, a sister and two brothers.
