A native of Elizabeth, N.J., Mr. Katzki joined the committee staff in New York in 1935 and was sent to Paris as World War II was David Almer, 95, developer, building By Kenan Heise TRIBUNE STAFF WRITER David Almer, 95, a retired painter, decorator and residential building contractor, developed and constructed homes in Oak Lawn and many of the southwest suburbs throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

A resident of Oak Lawn, he died Saturday in the Michaelsen Health Center in Batavia. Mr. Almer, who came to this country from Sweden on borrowed money, 'worked first as a gardener in Middletown, for the owner of the Indian Motor Cycle Co. He subsequently came to Chicago, where he became a house and commercial building painter. One of his first jobs was to paint the walls of many of the restrooms in the then-new Stevens Hotel, now the Chicago Hilton and Towers Hotel.

He subsequently started his own painting and decOriginal Rockette ASSOCIATED PRESS FAIRBURN, Corrie Russell, one of the original Radio City Rockettes, died Friday of cancer. She was 81. Mrs. Russell was one of 12 dancers in the first group of Radio City Rockettes. Born in Atlanta, she joined the heating up.

He closed that office just before the Germans invaded, and moved to Lisbon. Later in the war, Mr. Katzki worked for the United States War Refugee Board. After the war, he helped resettle thousands of German Jews who survived concentration camps or were displaced by the war. Mr.
