TARO Eric W. Idstrom, 74, master porcelain restoration artist, Captain US Army, musician, avid golfer, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, died February 13, 1997 at home after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Idstrom was born in Minnesota and raised in Waukegan, IL and lived many places in his career as sales manager for several national companies. He was Building Commissioner of Villa Park, IL before moving to Pompano Beach.

FL in 1977. There he began the Eric W. Idstrom Co. and soon became known as one of the foremost porcelain restorationists in the eastern U.S. He moved to Belleview in 1991 to continue his business in quieter surroundings with his wife and his protege Jody Leak, who has taken over the business.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Anita Idstrom; daughters, Karen Chichelli of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Kirsti Hoffman of Oconomowoc, WI. Patricia Hacker of Holiday, FL. Jennifer Frisby of Waukegan, IL; sister Kirsti Lerche of Waukegan, IL; two granddaughters and his grandson Stephen Chichelli.

Klein, 83, of Clearwater, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997 at Regency Oaks, Clearwater. Born in Phoenix, he moved to Clearwater in 1969 from Hinsdale, IL.
