Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Naperville. Florence Milchhoefer Florence Milchhoefer, 82, of Elm-hurst, a former office manager, died Saturday at home of a heart attack. She was born in Chicago but spent most of her life in Forest Park, where she lived until 1992. Mrs. Milchhoefer, a graduate of Proviso East High School, worked for many years at Silverman and Weiss, a cemetery in Forest Park.

She was a member of St John's Lutheran Church in Forest Park. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Moll; a son, Ronald; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchil-dren; and four great-grandchildren Services were held Tuesday. John Edward Bowe Edward Bowe, 68, a former associate judge of the Cook County Circuit Court, died Monday in Boston. A native of Chicago, Judge Bowe received his law degree from Kent College of Law. He began practicing law in 1955, then served as an associate judge from 1972 to 1992.

Judge Bowe lived in Win-netka from 1971 until 1993, when he moved to Boston. His late father, Augustine Bowe, was presiding judge of the 1st Municipal District from 1960 to 1966. Judge Bowe is survived by his wife, Katherine Pargellis Bowe; four sons, Anthony, Alexander, Charles and Robert and five grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday in Bostoa Gerald Gibbons Gerald Gibbons, 67, of Evergreen Park, editor of the Southwest Messenger Press, died Tuesday in Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park after having a heart attack Friday. Mr.

Gibbons worked at the weekly newspaper in Midlothian for the last 13 years, seven as editor. A native of Chi cago, he was active in Republican politics as a young man, working as a precinct captain and in the state Young Republicans Organization. He was an unsuccessful Chicago aldermanic candidate, and he lost a bid for the Illinois Senate. Mr. Gibbons, a graduate of Loyola University, served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

After moving to Evergreen Park in 1973, he became active in the community and local politics. He served for seven years on the Evergreen Park Library Board and was elected president of the Chamber of Commerce in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Moira and Sheila; a sister; and a brother. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 pm Friday in Kosary Funeral Home, 9837 S. Kedzie Evergreen Park, where services will be held at 11 am Saturday.
