Georgetown, Nov. 14, 1843. Ohio Legislature for 1843-4. SESSION OHIO STATESMAN. THE meeting of the General Assembly on the first Monday of Decemoer next, will be one of much more than ordinary interest.

The whole State will look in anxious suspense for the i opening of the wnig since they claim a great victory in the State. And it becomes out duty to let the people know all about tneir doings through th columns of our paper. Iftheyare good, let them receive the benefit if evil, the just rebuke of a deceived people. A great State Bank appeals to be one of their principal hobbies) wa shall sse it likeness in a bill, of course, and wa can judge than of its features.

It is well for the future interest of the State, that we have a senate to keep in check the doings of the 'r Hmmln.ni V. a i I ascertain what the measures are they propose. as in the case of Wye's Bank Bill in 1840-41. We hare good Reporters engaged for the session, and shall spaie no pains in giving the people ample information'of what is going on at the Capitol. The approaching campaign of 1814 is really of more interest to the American people than any other preceding it, except those of 1801) and .18:28, when federalism was in full power, and will make the movements of parties, this win- of more than usual importance and it becomes a duty devolving on those who are en- 1 trusted with the right of suffrage to keep them selves well and correotly informed of passing events.

We hope, therefore, tliat eve rv demo erat, who feels an interest in his principles, and bis country, will exert himself to spread inior wntion in bis neighborhood. In addition to the proceedings of the Legisla- ture, and the general news of the tunes, we will have a reguar correspondent at Washington to advise us of the doings of Congress. The pro- settings of the approaching Democratic l.ighth of Januar Convention will also ippear, in full in the columns flhe session, as well as the yeai-lv Statesman, which will, evidently, be of the highest Interest to the Repubican arty of the State. -wl. bars, and inform us of the paper, shall have a copy direction or nis sent him for his trouble.

It speaks for itself.

BaoojtLVN, Nov.25, 1842. Messrs. Sands: Gent. Altttoogb I am disfigured and deformed for life, laave not lost my recollection; ana never, wiuie i exist, shall I cease to feel grateful for benefits epnferred, through the use of your invaluaole Sarsaparilla. 1 was attacked in the year ia2d with a scrofulous affection on ibe end of my nose, commenc.

ing with a small red spot, attended itch, ing and burning sensations. This induced rub-ing, and nuw commenced the ravages of a die ease which progressed as follows; the left nostril was first destroyed, and, continuing op. wards, it crossed the bridge of the nose and, seising upon the right side, destroyed the cartilage, bone and ail the sunounding parts, until, finally, the nose was entirely eaten off: tbe passage for conveying tears from the eye to tne nose obliterated, which caused a continual flow of tears. Tne disease now seised upon the upper lip, extending to the right cheek, and my feelings.and sufferings were auch as can better be imagined than described. '-1 am a native of Nottingham, in England, and my case is well known there.

The first Physicians in the Kingdom prescribed forme, but with little benefit. At one time I was directed to take 63 drops of the "Tincture of Iodine" three times a day, which co itinued for six months in sue. cession. At another time 1 applied Oil of Vitriol to the parte. After this used a preemption of Sir Astlcy Cooper's, but all proved in vain.

I continued to grow worse, and as a droming man will catch a straw used every remedy 1 could bear of that was considered applicable to my cae, until 1 became dirguated with the treatment, and re'inquished all bop of ever getting Many pronounced the disease a Cancer, but Dr. under whose treatment I stas, eon-sidered it Scrofulous Lupus, and this Is tha name given it by medical men. As a last re tort I was recommended to try change of air and an Atlantic voyage, and in April last I sailed lor America, and arrived here in tha month of May. The disease continued gredu-ally to increase, extending upwards and back-wards, having destroyed the entire nose, and fast verging towards the frontal bone, it seised upon the upper jaw and surrounding parts. While crossing on tnererry-ooat Horn Brooklyn to New-York, a gentleman was attracted by my appearance and thus accosted for; 'My friend, nave you uku cijriiia res, replied various kinds, and every thing else could hear of; but, said he, "I mean iiands's Sarsaparilla No, teplied.

''Then use it lorj believe it will cure you." Being thus addressed by a stranger, I wi.s induced to mak trial of a medicine he so highly recommended. I purchased one bottle, which gave some re lief, and wonderful to tell, osrfig your 5anaps -rill less than two months, I feel within me well. The disease is stopped in its ravages, alj thftseraeking and tormenting pains are gone, my food reliance, my digestion is good, aud 1 sleep well and under the blessing of Divine Providence, I attribute the result entirely to the use of Sanda's Sarsaparilla. With the desire that the afflicted may no longer delay, bnt nc the right medicine and get cored. I remain, with feelings oflasting gratitude, Yourfntnd, TntUtAl X.LOYD, JfJ Nutria Allev.
