So o'clock, from his late residence, 2106 East Firth street. Uequi- of spirits, her mother avers, and gave no indication that she contemplated ending her life. Failing to return her parents became alarmed and instituted an exhaustive tearch for the missing girl. About a month later the facts of her disappearance were telegraphed all over the State. Her picture was forwarded to the police officials in every prominent city in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Mr. and Mrs. Ko.tenberger never relaxed their efforts to locate the girl and their search only ended when they identified the body found in the pool as that of their daughter. Eoys Find the Body The bod was discovered this morning hortly aft'r ten o'clock by Willie and Kletztingle, two small boys of the place. The pool is known as Kratz's quarry hole.

Its greatest depth is about twenty-five feet. The boys were fishing when their attention was attracted by a dark object floating upon the surface of the water. Closer in.spection revealed that it was tue body of a woman. Frank Pur-cell and Horace Wimley, well known citizens of Lansdale, drove past at the time, and the youngsters notified them of their ghastly find. With the aid of fishing poles the body was towed ashore.

The clothing of the dead girl was drawn over her head, thus giving the body the appearance of being decapitated. The body, after being viewed by Coroner Kane, was lemoved to the undertaking establishment of S. B. Corner. It was badly decomposed and the features were unrecognizable.

From a cursory examination Coroner Kane was unable to discern any bruises that would lead him to believe that the eirl had been shot or Ftabbed. Owing to the awful condition of the body it was a difiicult matter to make anything like a satisfactory examination. Identified by Jewelry A bracelet, blackened by long contact with the water, a breastpin and a ring were found upon the body. It was from these articles of jewelry that Albert A. Kosen-berger identified the body as that of his daughter.

When seen at his home by an Inquirer reporter yesterday Mr. Kosenberger declared that he was totally at a loss to assign a reason for hi daughter's death. "I cannot bring myself to believe that Jennie committed suicide," he said. "Her home life was ideal, and while the was occasionally reprimanded, I know of no reason why she should seek to end her life. I will confess, however, that she was somewhat wayward, and for this reason she was often scolded.

On the evening of November I had a long talk -with her, during which I spoke to her of tome wrong she had done. It was reported to me that she had gone to Coates-ville and oidered some goods in an irregular manner. I asked her if this was true, and she indignantly denied it. "In order to settle the matter, I told Jennie that I was going to visit Miss liar-ley, a local milliner, that night, and asked her to come along. Miss Harley knew something of the matter, and I decided to bring Jennie face to face with her.

Upon informine her of my intention she declared that she was perfectly willing to go along and prove her innocence. This was a few. minutes before the evening meal. Several minutes later Jennie left the house, stating that she would shortly return. She wore an apron at the time and had her coat buttoned up tightly about her throat.

When 1 visited her room that night I found that she had packed her belongings together, evidently intendinz to Isave. As I said before, cannot believe that she committed suicide. She was simply a little wild, as young girls are apt to be. Had a Good Home "She knew 7erfectly well that we would protect her and that she would always have a home as long as we lived. Her death certainly is a mystery, and I am anxious that a rigid investigation shall be made." Policeman Kulp, of this place, who was personally acquainted with the dead girl, is working on the case, and promises to make public some startling disclosures.

Throughout the day crowds of young women gathered about Undertaker Conver's place and craved permission to view the body of Miss Kosenberger. Their reel uests were denied. The body will be interred to-morrow in the Lansdale Cemetery. An inquest, it is expected, will be held within a few days. Credit Men Give Banquet The Philadelphia Credit Men's Association gave a banquet last night at the Bullitt Building, in connection with their regular quarterly meeting.
