Delta Sigmas' Plans Completed For Sale Wednesday Tho Delta Sigma Society of the Wesley Methodist 5hurch enjoyed dinner at the church last evenlilg, with twenty-five members in attendance. Plans were completed for a sale which the members of the Evangelical Bazaar Neta $870.

The Evangelical bhzaar, which was In progresBythls week, was not ns successful an that conducted last year. It ran about $200 short of the net earnings of last year's bazaar. The gross receipts wore $1,020 and the earnings were $870 The pastor, Rev. O. W.

A large audience enjoyed a con- ert given last evening at the Congregational church by the Western Military Academy orchestra, assisted by Captain and Mrs.

C. S. Porter and H. McDow. The Be- cctlons by the orchestra as well as ho numbers by Captain Porter and Mrs.

McDow were very mwch en- oyed. The numbers had been fle- ected with and were given In i very artistic and highly pleasing manner. After the program was given a course supper was served In the adles' 'parlors for the orchestra. The Lables were prettily decorated with Aaron Ward rose buds and were softly lighted with candles. The delicious repast was a delightful treat to the young cadets other artists on the program.

Gormley-Bonnell Wedding Tonight. The Upper Alton Baptist church will bo the scene of a pretty nuptial event tonight at seven-thirty o'clock when Miss Dorothy Bonnell becomes tho.bride of Robert A. Gormley of St. Louis. Tho ceremony will be performed by the Rev.

David T. Magill. Charles 'Gormley and Miss Abi Gormley, brother and sister of the groom, will be the attendants. Dorothy Lue'r, a niece of the groom, will be flower girl and ring bearer. Miss Bonnell is a daughter of W.

C. Bonnell of Evergreen avenue. She has many friends in Alton and her marriage Is one of interest. Mr. Gormley and his bride will go to housekeeping on California ave- nuo in St.

Louis. Mr. Gormley Is aii electrician and is employed at the Fairbanks Company of St. Louis. Following the wedding tonight a reception will be held at the Bonnell home on Evergreen avenue for relatives of tho young couple.
