1. a dangerous derelict is reported at sea by the Donaldson Line steamer Par-thenia. Captain Rolk, which arrived yesterday from Glasgow. On November 29, in 35 degrees 2 minutes north latitude and 73 degrees So minutes west longitude, au tip-turned wooden vessel, about 150 feet long, was seen close alongside of the Parthenia. It was floating in the track of vessels.

SCHOONER THREATENED BY Nov. 30. The New Y'ork. New Haven and Hartford Railway lost twenty-six coal oars, a large amount of soft coal and a long coal slied through a fire to-night. The fire also threatened the five-masted schooner Fannie Palmer, but tugs managed to tow the vessel into the stream.

The loss is estimated at .125,000. There were 75,000 tons of soft coal in. the shed, much of which was destroyed. HARD WORK TO KEEP HER AFLOAT. Newport.
