At the Princess For fast moving, concise, interest- Ing and humorous entertainment you'll have to pay tribute to Bebe Daniels, who came to the Princess theatre last night In her latest Paramount comedy "She's a Sheik." Never has the athletically inclined star been seen to better advantage and, judging from the reaction of the first night audience, the photoplay Is in for a successful run. The picture starts out with a bang, thanks to the efforts of William Powel, as the heavy, and before long it is picked up by the star and carried through at a merry pace. The story revolves around the activities of the granddaughter of the sheik, who, after an education received in the United States, returns to her Al- geian home with some distinct and novel Ideas upon how to capture a male.

These she puts into practice against the desert background, picking as the target a young and handsome captain in the Foreign Legion who cannot reconcile himself as to the appeal of either Miss Daniels or her tactics. He dislikes, particularly, being placed In n. leopard's cage for the purpose of being tamed and although the audience sympathizes with the captain for a battered vanity, it does provide many laughs. tfr TWO SHOWS LAST SHOWING TONIGHT FIRE AND STEEL" With MARY McALLISTKK, JACK PERRIN A Thrilling Melodrama in the Background of the Steel Mills COMING SUNDAY ROSS LEWIS' RADIO DOLL REVUE Starring the Famous Grimes Sisters GRAFTON Aged Grafton Renldent Dies Mrs. Allen Pox died at her home hi Orafton Sunday evening, N6v.
