It is stated that this small amount was specified only as a formality on which to hold the prisoner. The amount alleged to have been appropriated by Dobbins is $20,000. Four thousand of this is said to have been recovered by the railroad company last year, but the balance will probably be a total loss. Living: in Ease Dobbins is asserted to have been living in the greatest ease since his discharge the first of the year. He wore the best of clothes, frock coat, high silk hat and patent leather shoes, and when he left here for- Elizabeth yesterday he was dressed as though he was about to attend some social function.

BENJAMIN. Condition of Eminent Now Hi in London, Little Change Had Money in the House M. B. Wallace, of East Orange, a brother of the dead woman, said to-day that his sister was ia the habit of keeping considerable sums of money in the house. She recently sold a house in Baltimore, for $2000, receiving $1100 in cash, and it is thought this sum may have been in the house also.

The theory that Mrs. Ross was drugged during the night is borne out by- the fact that her head was wrapped in a piece of window drapery. Autopsy Ordered An autopsy has been ordered to establish, if possible, the cause of death. This will be performed by Dr. W.

Mc-Kenzie, County Physician Of Esses county, under instructions from Coroner W. Nelson Knapp. "Mrs. Ross, according to her brother, habitually retired at 0 o'clock. -At that hour on the night of the fire a light was seen burning in her room.

When, her body was found it was seen that her clothing had not been removed This led to the belief that she was killed before her usual hour for retiring. WEDDING. Invitations. Aonciracoments. etc 1X) in script lettering, including: 2 sets of envelopes, W.
