He was born March 14, 1932 in Chicago, where he touched many hearts through his 43 years of working in the Chicago and surrounding community as a truck driver. He was a lifelong member of Chicago Truck Drivers, Helpers and Warehouse Workers Union. He recently retired from Actown Electrocoil Inc. in Spring Grove, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Bossow, of Chicago.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Kathy of Solon Mills, a daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Tom Morrison of Blair, Nebraska; a son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Lindy of Yuma, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, April, Thomas. She and her husband, Robert R. Burton, who died April 1, 1996, would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 26, 1996. She is survived by her three children, Robert R. Burton Jr. of Houston, Lynn Burton Esmond of Breckenridge, CO.

and John G. Burton of Bryson City, her sister, Jessie Bird Woodcock of Corvallis, OR. and eight grandchildren.
