Cowley was born in San Mateo Aug. 18, 1957 and moved to Westwood with his family in 1963. He was a graduate of Westwood High School. He is survived by his wife, Elaine of Westwood; parents Roy and Verla Cowley of Westwood; sons Adam of Redding and Tyson of Chester; daughter Ashley of Chester; grandmother Esther Brown of Susanville; brothers Randal of Westwood, Richard of Colombia Falls, and sister Marlene Bollinger of Westwood. Funeral services were held Feb.

24 at 1 1 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Clear Creek. Burial followed at Westwood cemetery. The family has requested that donations in Cowley's memory be made to a trust fund in Adam's name in care of Verla Cowley. Arrangements were Restaurant Reno (702) 972-1309 aturday 9 a.m.

Larimer was born in Fullerton, May 27, 1925 and had lived 16 years in Janesville after moving from Newhall, Calif. She was a member of the Soroptomist Club of Susanville. Larimer owned and operated the Fun Fabric shop in Susanville for 13 years and taught sewing classes at Lassen College. She was a substitute teacher at various elementary schools in Lassen County. She is survived by her husband, Ellsworth Larimer of Janesville; her sons, Larry Larimer of Susanville, Lee Larimer of Janesville and Jerry Larimer of Springfield, her sister, Ruth i lodges of Santa Cruz, and seven grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 17 at the Lucero-Carlson Colonial chapel, followed by burial in the Janesville Cemetery. Til ELM A ECKSTROM SULLIVAN Thelma Eckstrom Sullivan, 92, died in a Chico hospital Feb. 17, 1988. She was born Oct.

16, 1895 in Stockton. Her parents were Fred and Nellie Eckstrom. Sullivan attended school in Stockton and married Ted Sullivan Sr. in 1919. After Ted Sullivan died in 1949, she moved to San Francisco, where she lived until 1970 when she moved to Clear Creek.

Fletcher Walker School She was a member of the Episcopal Church and of Holy Spirit Episcopal Mission of Almanor. Sullivan is survived by her sons, Ted Sullivan of Chico and Richard Sullivan of Carmel; her daughter, Barbara Simpson of Clear Creek; her sisters, Alberta Cloudsley and Charolette Aulwurm, both of Oakland; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held ft at St. John's Episcopal Church in Stockton Feb. 21.

The family asked that remembrances for Sullivan be made to the donor's favorite charity or to the Talking Book Library, 600 Broadway, Sacramento. Arrangements were handled by Brusie Funeral Home of Chico. ROY L. COWLEY JR. Roy L.

General meeting at 221 Delwood, Westwood For more information, call 256-2217. 7 a.m.: Kiwanis breakfast nine' BRUCE TODD Bruce Todd, 73, died at his home in Clear Creek Feb. 13, 1988. Todd was born in Neches, Texas, March 26, 1914 and had lived in the Westwood area for 48 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served as stake center president in Westwood for six years, among other offices.

Todd worked on the Mapes Ranch and Murrer Ranch and the Bogard Ranger Station before moving to Westwood in 1940, where he worked for the Red River Lumber and Fruit Growers Supply Co. in Westwood until it closed. He retired in 1979 from Collins Pine in Chester. He was active in Boy Scouts for 25 years and he served as a scout master during that time. He was also the first president of the Clear Creek Consolidated Water -District and he served on the Westwood School Board, i He also started the Terrell Genelogical Society of America.

5 Todd is survived by his wife, Hazel Todd of Clear Creek; his sons, Galan Todd of Susanville, Richard Todd of Reno, and Gregory Todd of Westwood; his daughters, Sallye Perez of Susanville, Gina Lunetta of Sacramento and Chlele Boggs of Alameda, his brother, Maylon Todd of Palestine, Texas; his sisters, Dona WILLIAM ALAN PETTY William Alan Petty was born (Feb. 11, 1988 at Lassen Community Hospital in Susanville. LETA DOWNEY HOOPER Leta Downey Hooper, 68, died at her home in Herlong Feb. 14, 1988. She was born in Sonoma, May 10, 1919 and had lived in the Herlong area for 38 years. Hooper was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Sonoma Lodge. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Manning of Arlington, Kathleen Tyler of Pinole, and Patti Fox of Eagle River, Alaska; her sister, Jennie Dahlin of San Rafael, and three grandchildren.

Her husband, Roy, died in 1986. Memorial service were held Feb. 18 at the Lucero-Carlson Colonial Morturary chapel and she was buried in the Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville, Calif. The family requests that donations may be made to the Heart Fund in Hooper's memory. ALICE MARIE LARIMER Alice Marie Larimer, 62, died in Tijuana, Baja California, born Feb.

11, 1988 at Lassen Community Hospital in Susanville. Her mother is Jamie Corina-Rene Nolan of Susanville. She weighed 6 pounds and VA ounces. DAVID AUBREY BETTENCOURT David Aubrey Bettencourt was born Feb. 7, 1988 at Lassen Community Hospital in Susanville.
