He was born May 5, 1879, in son of the late Herman and Sarah Kahel, and it was here that hi- spent his entire life. On Nov.

28, 1902, he married Margaret Ann Green, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Myron C. Kabel, of Champaign; three daughters, L. Brazier, Mrs. E.

G. Johnson, and Miss Georgia' Kabel, all of Moro; two sisiers, Mrs. Rivnr and Mrs; Mill-' me Largent of Belhallo; and Mrs. Birdie Hans of Chicago. The Navy has 4,000 dental officers.
