No. 8472-By virtue of a writ of seizure and salp to me directed by the honorable the Sixth District Court for the parish of Orleans, in the above entitled cause.I will proceed to sell at public auction, at the Merchants and Auctioneers' Exchange, Royal street, between Canal and Customhouse streets, in the Second District of thiu city.

on MONDAY August 2o, 1877, at 12 o'clock the following described prorierty. to witA CERTAIN LOT Oif GltOUND, together with all and singulir the rights, ways, servitudes advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise apportainiung situated in the 'Faubourg In the Sixth District of this city, (late city and parish of Jefferson) in this State, in the square number four, comprised within Jersey. Chippeowa and Toledano streets and Louisiana Avenue; said lot is designated by 'he number fourtesn on the original plan the Faubourgs Plaisanc and Detachaise. and is also designated by the sanme number on a cer illed sketch made by J. A.

d'Hemcmourt, d(eputy city surveyor, on the ninetontllit of October, 1871, which sketch is annexed for special reference to the aforesaid act of deposit, passed before James Fahey, notary public, on the said nineteenth Oi'ober. 1s7t. and measures, according to said original plan and aa.ording to said certified sketch, twenty-seven I'let ten inches front on Jersey street by a depth of one hundred and twenty-five feet seven inches four lines, between equal and parallel lines. BIeing the saute property acquired by the defendant herein by purchase from L. P.

Delochalse, per act passed before said notary, Fahey, on the twentfy-first of October. 1871. Seized in the above suit. And in case the price bid onl the property should, after deduction of the aforesaid fees, costs and taxes in cash, be less than the aggregate amount of plaintiff's claim, with interest as aforesaid, and of the notes to be assumed. as above describod, then the put rchasr to pay the plaintiff's afore, said cash claim and to assume the afore described notes pro rata to the extent of his bid.

SEVEN LOTS OF GROUND, situated in the sixth District of this city, in square number forty-seven, old plan, and number three hundred and ninety-seven, new plan, bounded by Boudousouie, Leontine Valmont and Pitt streets, bald lots are designated by the numbers fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, eighteen, nineteen and twenty, on anian deposited in the sheriffs office. Lots numbers fouren flfreen, sixteen, seventeen and eighteen each other, and measure each thirty-two 'feet seven inches four lines front on Leontine street by a depth of one hundred and nine feet four inches four lines, between parallel lines; lot numbereighteen forms the corner of Leonrine and Pitt streets; lots numbers nineteen and twenty measure each thirty feet front on Pitt street by a depth of one hundred and thirty feet six inches, betwien parallel lines. Pitt and Pryt4nl't streets, each lot having a front of twent yelight feet two inches on Valmont streetby one hundred and twentythree feet one inch in depth, between parallel lines; which property was acquired by the defendant from S. L. Hill, by. first, an aot passed before S.

Magner, late a notary public in this city, on the first of April, 1887; and second, by an art passed before W. L. Poole, a notary publie in this city. on the llfteenth of April, 1869. Seized in the above suit.

Terms-This being the seennd and lest nut'tion, the said property will be definitely adjudicated to the highest and last bidder for what it will bring, at twelve months' credit, the purchaser furnishing bond, with good and solvent security, and special mortgage on the property sold until final payment. alid purchasor will have to deduct and pay in 'ash tile printing. sheriffs and clerk's fees, otre which amount to about two hundred and seventy-five dollars, andt turthermore, the State, parish and muniopal taxes, the amount of which is not yet ascertained.
