Officials and policemen, delivery boys, stores, taxicabs and druggists all are his victims. One firm sent out 39 turkeys to customers that didn't exist. Another received 50 such fake calls in a day.

Harry Berry, state highway commissioner. protesting the building of Highway No. 14 into the city at Rayburn boulevard and South Parkway. contract for grading and drainage of 4,900 feet of this project from Levi school to the city limits was offered for bids today at Nashville.

W. F. Jaggers, pastor of the Whitsett's Chapel Baptist church, died today in Rutherford county nospital here after a rolprse following an operation last Sunday for gall stones. Mr. Jaggel's seemed recovering until yes(terday, when his condition suddenly took a turn for the worse.

The minister came to Rutherford county 13 vears ago from Kentucky, and had served in the Baptist ministry since that time, acting as paster for several rural congregations. He was prominent member of the Baptist association, and in deference to his death, the fifth Sunday meeting. which was to have been next Sunday in Whitsett's Chapel, has been postponed.
