A native of Sugar Notch, she was graduated from the public schools there and was last employed at Kenneth- Manufacturing Heights. Communicant of Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch. Survived by mother, Mrs.

Constance Baranowski; brothers, Rev. Francis Baranowski, assistant pastor of St. Joseph's RC Church, Hudson; Joseph and Chester. -Funeral from home Saturday at 9, Holy Family Church 9:30. St.

Cather'ne's Cemetery, Moscow. KUBICKI -Louis Joseph, formerly of Hudson, died Monday in Huron Road Hospital, Cleveland, 0. A son of the late Frank and Josephine Kubicki, 24 Union Hudson, he lived in Cleveland five years. Veteran of World War 2. Survived by wife, Jean; sons, Joseph and Michael; sisters and brothers: Helen and Mrs.

Emily Wiencek, Hudson; Mrs. Martha Stachinck, Mrs. Agnes Lulewicz, Mrs. Lottie Mido, Mrs. Irene Meler, John and Theodore.

Funeral will be held in Hudson. LAVELLE-Mrs. Earl, 21 W. Carey Plains, died Tuesday afternoon in Hahnemann Hos- pital, Philadelphia. The former Nancy Murphy, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. William Murphy, Plains. Member of Sacred Heart Church and Altar and Rosary Society. Survived by husband, Earl; son, Anthony; daughter, Mary Ann; parents; brothers and sisters: James, Edward, William, Joseph, John, Agnes and Rosemary Murphy. Funeral will be held from the home.

Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening. VOLANSKY-John, of 309 Lincoln Dupont, died Monday at his home. Born in Austria, he lived in Dupont 29 years. Member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, Pittston.

Surviving his wife, Mary; sons, "John, Frank, George, Michael and Edward; six daughters, Mrs. Edward Colorafi, Mrs. John Chopyak, Mrs. Gerald Welsh, Mrs. Henry Mlodgenski, Theresa and Lillian; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph and Steven.

A lifelong resident of Pittston, he was a son of late Michael and Ellen Walker Sammon. His sister, Mary, died last July 5. Member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. There are no immediate survivors.

Funeral was held Tuesday from funeral home, 802 Susquehanna West Pitts ton with mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. Interment was in the parish cemetery. James Rooney Dies After Heart Attack James E. Rooney, 51 Price Kingston, was stricken with a heart attack yesterday morning at 8 at his home and was taken to Nesbitt Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He was employed 27 years by the Roberts Roofing Luzerne, retiring two years ago. He was a veteran of World War 1, having taken part in the Argonne and Chateau- Thierry battles. In the latter battle he was wounded in the arm by Shrapnel. Member of St. Ignatius Church and its societies, Black Diamond Post 395, American Legion the Roofers Union of America.

MARY R. CORDY Mrs. Mary Roche Cordy, formerly of Pittston, died yesterday morning at Chadwick, N. Y. Body will be brought to a funeral home, William Street, Pittston, from where the funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 with interment in St.

Kingston New Jersey Man Dies At Plymouth An Elizabeth, N. man who came to Plymouth last week to attend his father-in-law's funeral died suddenly of a heart attack last night at Plymouth. The dead. man is James Wolfe, 45, of 1067 Bond Elizabeth, a former resident of Hanover Township. He was sitting in a chair in the home of his wife's family, 17.

Willow Plymouth, waiting to be called for supper. When his wife, the former Thelma Frey, went to call him about 5:25 she found he had died. Plymouth police cruiser was summoned and Dr. D. B.

Siberski pronounced Mr. Wolfe dead. Deputy Coroner Joseph W. Piszezek investigated. Mr.

Wolfe's father-in-law, Harry Frey, died last Wednesday and was buried Saturday. The Wolfes came here 'at the time of Mr. Frey's death and were remaining for a visit. Mr. Wolfe was a son of the late Mr.

and Mrs. James Wolfe. His father was for many years mine foreman at Lance and Nottingham Collieries. He had resided 17 years at Elizabeth where he was employed by Singer Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, all of Elizabeth.

Surviving: his wife; a son, Harry; sisters, Mrs. Martin McDermott, Mrs. Wilson J. Thomas and Ida T. Wolfe, and an aunt, Mrs.

Nyhart, 79, of 9 Oxford Lee Park, retired prominent educator, died yesterday afternoon in Wyoming Valley Hospital, to which he was admitted July 23. Born Oct. 3, 1874 in Askam, a son of Levi and Julia Nyhart, he was a teacher and principal in Hanover Township schools 25 years and supervising principal for 20 more, retiring 13 years ago. He was graduated from Bloomsburg Normal School in 1896. Interested in music, he sang with the Dr.
