He was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Chicago. Resided in Arlington Heights for 62 years. He was a retired executive of the petroleum construction industry. He was a long standing member of Our Lady of the Wayside Church and former member of the Our Lady of the Wayside Golf League and P.A.D.S.

13 in Evanston Hospital. He was 81. Although he taught for several years at Haven School in Evanston, Mr. Bright spent the major part of his teaching career as head of the English Department at Deerpath School in Lake IL. His annotated anthologies of American literature, published by J.P.

Lippencott were used for many years in Evanston schools and in the state of Texas. Former students frequently wrote Mr. Bright to tell him that his example had inspired a career in writing. Mr. Bright received his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Chicago.

He was a Phi Beta Kappan. He served in the Army during World War 11. More recently he had enjoyed translating German with friends, and enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Hillside Free Methodist Church, 2727 Crawford, Evanston at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.

People wanted to know how to care for them, and he began making a wax for them that produced Johnson Wax from a Brazilian palm tree. A native of Evanston, Mr. Louis graduated from the Deerfield Academy and served in World War II as a pilot with the U.S. Army.

He graduated from Williams College and earned a master's degree from Dartmouth University in 1949. He worked as an account executive with the Chicago advertising firm of Needham, Louis and Brorby Inc. from 1952 to 1958 and then as director of international marketing for S.C. Johnson Son. Mr.

Louis was part of the Jack H. Nahigian Jack H. Nahigian, retired president of H.C. Nahigian Sons in Skokie, died Sunday in a north suburban nursing home. He was a resident of Wilmette.

His firm, begun by his father in 1934, specializes in rare oriental rugs. Mr. Nahigian, a graduate of Northwestern University, lettered baseball there. During World War II, he served in the Navy. He helped the use of blimps in anti-submarine warfare.

In 1959, he was transferred to Paris, where he headed a newly formed foreign subsidiary. After retiring, he worked in various capacities selling to and consulting with PEMEX, the Mexican oil monopoly.

A longtime resident of Flossmoor, he served as a member and president of the school board there. Survivors include two daughters, Jane Peddicord and Cara Lennie; and two grandchildren. Services were private.
