Ridge convinced Brooke to move back in with Eric until her baby is born and a paternity test can be performed. Sheila got rid of little Eric's nanny, Judy, for a while by convincing the woman that she was ill and shouldn't be near the baby. Eric agreed to let Sheila take care of the baby while Judy is sick. Days of Our Lives (11 a.mM Channel 4) Ginger, Molly and Tanner abducted Gavin in an effort to make him confess that he tried to rape Molly, but Gavin stuck to his lie that he never touched Molly. After Ginger, Molly and Tanner let Gavin go, he panicked and tried to split town, whereupon the police arrested him on attempted rape charges and figured that he wouldn't flee if he was Innocent, like he claimed.

On Lawrence's command, Lisanne paid Jesse's father, Roger, to convince the dock workers that John can't be trusted. General Hospital (2 p.m, Channel t) Sexual sparks flew between Ned and Julia, who were celebrating their purchase of the Port Charles Hotel when the lights went out during a severe storm. Vikl, Tina, Andrew and Jake were all affected by Megan's spirit and won dered if their feeling Megan's presence only took place in Tina's dream.

When Jason asked Dorian for a job, she wanted to resume their former affair, but he refused. Santa Barbara (2 p.m, Channel 4) Jodie and Cruz spent the night on the beach after lying to Reese that they never slept together. Reese suspects B.J. is Cruz's daughter. B.J.

jabbed Frank with a scissor when he came at her, then moved out of the family home after she accused Frank of robbing her of her innocence, and her ability to ever really love a man. Warren let B.J. crash in a back room at his newspaper after putting her on staff. Abigail was poised to clobber Aurora (Abbey) with an ax when she spotted the deceased Mariah (really a disguised Julia). Abigail told "Mariah" she tampered with Micah's car, but Micah was supposed to die, not Mariah.

While trying to get away from "Mariah" (Julia), Abigail slipped and fell off a cliff to her death. The Young and the Restless (11 a.m, Channel 13) Scott went after Lauren, who took Scotty to her hotel after she rejected Scott's physical advances. Scott took Scotty home after telling Paul that he wouldn't put it past Lauren to take the child and run. Lauren told Paul she wants sole custody of Scotty since he is her son. Ashley was upset when she told Victor it doesn't seem like they have a future together.

Danny and Cricket staged an argument at Gina's Place so that Michael would think their marriage is on the rocks. Channel 40 now a Telemundo outlet Scarlett lected for screen tests in Atlanta next fall. More than 10,000 American women and as many European women submitted photographs hoping to win the prized role in the mini-series, scheduled to be broadcast in the United States and 17 other countries next year. Galavision, which telecasts on UHF Channel 43, shares CableVision's Channel 48. A survey for KHR-TV by the Strategy Research Corp, conducted in May, showed that KHR captured an average 25,000 households during weekday prime time, while Univision drew 6,000 and Galavision, 2,000. Zucker credits the difference to his station's variety of programming and locally generated news, sports and special events shows.

Telemundo also carries Spanish-language national news programs, soap operas, talk shows, music videos, movies and sports that originate in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. "Most of our programming is produced in the U.S., reflecting the lifestyle of the U.S. Hispanic," said Me-linda Miranda, KHR-TV program director. Miranda said the station serves four different viewing audiences, the 15 percent who speak little or no English, the 60 percent who are fully bilingual and the remaining 25 percent of Hispanics and others who speak little or no Spanish. KHRR-TV will be on the air from 6 a.m.

to 12:30 a.m. daily. The Arizona Dally Star Channel 40 is back on the air, but the look and sound are entirely different. The UHF channel is now KHRR-TV, successor to the 3-year-old KHR TV-14, Southern Arizona's Telemundo Network outlet For a time, the U.S.-produced Spanish language fare of Telemundo will appear on both Channels 14 and 40, so that its many fans can make the transition smoothly, said Jay S. Zucker, president of Hispanic Broadcasters of Tucson operators of KHRKHRR.

Zucker owns 90 percent of the company, be said, "and owners of the other 10 percent also work here, making us the only locally owned commercial television station in Tucson." TV-14 is transmitted with 10,000 watts of power, barely receivable via antenna within the city limits, but available strong and clear to subscribers of Tucson CableVision and Jones Intercable on Channels 10 and 51, respectively. It is seen in No-gales on cable Channel 33. TV-40, formerly KPOL-TV, is licensed to broadcast 1,534,000 watts of power, which will carry the Telemundo aerial signal far beyond the city limits, even into Mexico to the south, and north as far as Superior, Zucker said.
