Williams celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at Northwest Neighborhood Center. They were married Nov. 17, 1943 in Forrest City, Ark.

Mrs. Williams is employed by Skyline and Mr. Williams is a retiree of Roy Quinn Const. They have eight children, Georgia A. Shelton; Herbert Beverly J.

and Barbara A. Jones; Linda L. Dent, Brenda D. Mann, Delisia E. Wilkes and Terile J.

Williams, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Heidel 50th Anniversary Jean and John Heidel celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at a dinner party hosted by their children. More than 40 family members and friends attended. The Heidels were married Nov. 20, 1943 in San Francisco.

They have lived in Arizona more than 50 years. Jean is a homemaker and John is a retiree of Pima County. They have three children: Sandra Heidel, John (Karen) Heidel, Jr. and Sharon (Richard) Houston, all of Tucson. Diaz 60th Anniversary Emilia and Julian Diaz celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary with a dinner at El Rio Neighborhood Center.

They were married Dec. 9, 1933 in Tucson where they have lived all their lives. Mrs. Diaz is a homemaker and Mr. Diaz is a retired bricklayer.

They have six children: Ray and Raul Diaz, Mary Carmen Castillo, Nellie Urbina and Sarah Mesa. Another daughter, Rebecca, is deceased. I vif: I i Stites 60th Anniversary Virginia and Delbert Stites celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary Nov. 19. Their children and grandchildren honored them with a dinner Thanksgiving Day. Virginia and Delbert owned and operated Stites Hardware in Rock Port, Mo. for 36 years before retiring to Tucson in 1974.

Barr 50th Anniversary Pat and Pete Barr celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Dec. 12 at the Moose Lodge. They were married Dec. 21, 1943 in Minot, N.D. and have lived in Arizona since 1955 where they were race car drivers.

Mrs. Barr is a homemaker and Mr. Barr is a retired millwright from Local 1914. They have three children all living in Tucson Karen Lang and Bill and Buzz Barr. They have nine grandchildren and 10 McCarthy 50th Anniversary Margaret and Walter McCarthy celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary with their children and their spouses at a dinner party at the Arizona Inn where they were escorted by limousine.

They were married Nov. 11, 1943 in Oak Park, 111. while Mr. McCarthy was home on leave from the U.S. Marine Corps.

Both now are retired. They have four children: Michael McCarthy, Deborah Berkson, W. Groy McCarthy and Peggy Pedilla. They have three grandchildren..
