THE EVENING INDEPENDENT, MASSILLON. OHIO THURSDAY, SEPT. 17, 1959 NINETEEN ROGER W. BABSON Predicts Boom In Seeds BABSON PARK, Mass. Once each year I like to discuss foods.

Usually it is at the close of the summer, which I spend at Gloucester, Mass, where I was born. There I once peddled vegetables and fruits from a milk wagon. of course, am writing only as a layman, surely not as a physician or druggist. In my youth I never heard of minerals, or bulk" a day (while the children of 1050 are taken by bus and exercise in a beautiful gymnasium after arrival). We always attend-' ed church and Sunday school whatever the weather.

THE SHOW WON equally -n- tfausiastic acclaim when given before a large audience at a greater Cleveland all-star game a few nights later.

"Trumpets Swinging" has what is, regarded by many persons as one of the most unusual features ever provided in a Tiger band show, it being a routine built around a quintet of coach horn players. Insofar as Director Orin "Dykae" Ford is aware, the show is the first football presentation by any musical organization to feature the unique musical instruments. The Tiger band will have the entire halftime to itself as there will be no visiting musical organi- sation. Before the game gets under way the band will present its new pre-game routine which includes the playing of the Washington high "Alma slater" which in past Left to right are Annette Mang, Nancy McClintock. We can still buy fresh orange juice rather than canned or cooked. Fresh fruit juices will always be in demand, but the time may come when we will take an orange seed as a pill once a day! These seeds are now sold at a premium for the pigs and chickens, which also get the best of the fish of which we buy the fillets. The old motto "From Rags to Riches' 1 may become "From Seeds to Health." Life Magazine for Sept. 7, 1959 has an excellent article on "Bulbs." It, however, omits one important fact, namely that bulbs and seeds have one very unique power the power to defy gravity. They not only know when spring has come, but they have an exclusive God-given power to defy gravity and push upward through the hard soil which has been frozen all winter.
