(AP) Owners of the World Football League Orlando Blazers met with prospective new owners yesterday in an effort to finish negotiations for planned relocation of the team to Atlanta. "We have in our possession a letter from league Commis-sioner Gary Davidson okaying the transfer of the Orlando team to Atlanta," said T.M. Alexander, one of the group interested in acquiring the franchise. "All we have to do is meet three conditions, and we're fairly certain we can do that." The major problem blocking the shift of the team has been finding an adequate stadium. The team has been negotiating with Georgia Tech for the use of Grant Field, which seats Georgia Tech's stadium was offered to the World Football League last year," said Alexander, "and we anticipate no problem getting it this year." The athletic board of Georgia Tech will meet early in the week to consider the Blazers' request to rent Grant Field, Tech's acting president said.

Dr. Vernon Crawford said he expects to have a decision early in the week on whether the athletic board would recommend the proposal to the Board of Regents. While the Colts' offense racked up the points, a rugged defense held the Browns to one field goal while setting up two Baltimore field goals and a touchdown. Rookie running back Doug Kotar of the New York Giants scored two touchdowns and the Giants' defense intercepted three passes on the way to a victory over the Jets. The Los Angeles Rams scored two quick touchdowns, then let Cullen Bryant and the reserves polish off Kansas City Saturday night.

The crowd of 48,828 was the largest of the strike-plagued preseason. Bryant raced 117 yards on only 11 carries in his pro debut as a running back, running 29 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown. The second-year pro had been a defensive back ever since the last time he carried the ball as a freshman at the University of Colorado. 18, 19, 20, 21 WHITEWALLS 2.44 MORE Jayi7-Mfr always Banner Rd 1-1 Gs Mojo 9-2 Thlrt Thre 5-2 Mndy An 7-5 5. Dallas Cowboys used the extra period to turn back their opponents. Pittsburgh edged cross-state rival Philadelphia 33-30, Cincinnati beat Atlanta 13-7 and Dallas whipped state rival Houston 19-13. In other NFL action, the Giants beat the Jets 21-13 and Baltimore blasted Cleveland 37-3. Out on the West Coast Los Angeles bombed Kansas City 58-16.

Roy Gerela's 19-yard field goal after 7:33 of a sudden-death overtime carried the Pittsburgh Steelers to victory in Philadelphia. The Eagles won the overtime-period toss and had first crack, but after reaching the Pittsburgh 38, they punted instead of attempting a 55-yard field goal. The punt went into the end zone, then the Steelers drove from their 20 to a first down at the Philadelphia seven. Three running plays netted five yards and Gerela kicked the winning field goal that gave Pittsburgh its third straight victory. Quarterback Roger Staubach ran two yards for a touchdown with 5:19 elapsed in sudden-death overtime to give the Dallas Cowboys a victory over the upstart Houston Oilers.

The winning touchdown in overtime was set up when Mark Washington recovered a fumble by Jeff Severson on the Houston 13-yard line. Staubach rolled out for eight yards to set up the winning touchdown in which he faked into the line and wheeled around the left end untouched.
