A woman who chooses a very public place to take her physical pxcrcise has been interesting folks In the neighborhood of Fourth and Alton steels of late. She appears by daylight, along as the sun goes down, and begins taking exercises by performing stunts al calisthenics. She cnres not for the eyes of observers. Johnston, tho retired hardware merchant, reports that lie has had much pleasure out of watching the woman perform, as she chooses a spot on the sidewalk in front of his place to go through her evening exercises. A few night ago E. M. Ciaddfs went over and spoke to her but she acted as If in a trance, without deigning to notice Mr.

Gaddis she continued' her exercises and then passed on.
