Movies Thursday at YWCA Thursday afternoons at 3:30 the YWCA Is inviting all ages of children to come to the Association building for movies. This week will be animal pictures and cartoons. A small admission fee will be charged. This is part of the YWCA summer program, which includes swimming dips each day and a playtime on Monday afternoons from 2:30 to 4 o'clock.

Miss Levls will wear a slmole bouffant frock of white marquisette and a shoulder length veil attached to a marquisette brim arranged with pleated grosgraln ribbon. A very small reception will follow the wedding, taking place at the Levls home. Mr. and Mrs. Williams are leaving tonight on a northern honeymoon, and after June 28 will make their home in Princeton, N. J.

Before going to Princeton the couple will visit the groom's parents In Minneapolis. The bride will be wearing a green silk shantung suit navy blue hat and accessories when she departs on her trip. She is teacher of home economics in the Carroilton publin school.

Mr. Petty is a graduate of the University of Illinois and a member of the professional fraternity Alpha Tnu Alpha. He is a veteran of World War 2 and a member of the American Legion. He is employed as Instructor of vocational agriculture nnd supervisor of On the Farm Training for veterans at Carroilton public school. and Mrs.

Yellow and white carnations were combined in her bouquet. Miss Norma Curry sang "I Love You Truly" and "Because." She was accompanied by Miss Viola Snyder who played the processional and recessional. The wedding reception was held at. the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Roscoe Mouser S26 Center street, East Alton. A three-tier wedding cake adorned the reception table. Mr. Mouser Is employed at the Benl! Tool Company, Kast Alton. Both Mr.

nnd Mrs. Mouser are grnduates of Enst Alton-Wood River High School. They will reside In nn apartment on Broadway in Kast Alton. Miss Cross Guest of Honor Miss Charlene Cross was honored with a miscellaneous bridal shower given by Miss Patricia Gallman at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Raymond Gallman, 432 Jennings avenue, Wood River, Monday evening. The wedding of Miss Cross and George Olbert will take place June 21. The house was decorated with flowers. In the dining room a large white wedding boll wns suspended from the chandelier from which there were white streamers to the corners of the lace-covered table. The centerpiece consisted of crystal hurricane lamps with white candles In the form of a bride and groom.

Bunco was played and prizes were given to Miss Cross, Mrs Marshall Wood and Miss Margaret Ann Eden. Miss Gallman was assisted in serving refreshments by her mother, Mrs. Raymond Gallman, and Mrs. Paul Page. Among those present were Mrs.

J. L. Cross, mother of the bride- to-be and Mrs. John Olbert, mother of Mr. Olbert.

Kuth Howrll Weds Miss Ruth Patricia Howell, daughter of Mrs. Fred W. Howell of Jerseyville and the late Judge Howell, was married to Carroll Thompson Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.

Allen of Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church, Jerseyville. The Rev. David B. Maxlon, pastor, officiated nt the double ring ceremony performed at 4:30 o'clock. A tall basket filled with white Madonna lilies centered a mass of palms and ferns which adorned the chancel for the Wedding, and seven-branched candelabra holding lighted tapers stood on either side.

The aisles through which the bridal party passed were lined with lighted candles In high standards entwined with smllnx. While the guests assembled a 15-mlnute organ recital of nuptial music was given by Mrs. Frank Snedeker who played the traditional wedding marches and accompanied the soloists. Before the entrance of the bride, Mrs. B.

A Curwin of Oklahoma City, Okla. sister of the groom, sang "Al Dawning" and Miss Doris Jean Cope of Jerseyville sang "I Love You" and "Through the Years." Wayne Henly of Jacksonville was matron of honor for her sister, and Miss Mary Holland a student at St. Teresa's College, Winond, was maid of honor The bridesmaids included Miss Dprothy Jean Feyernbend of Jerseyville and Miss Imogene Isringhausen, a student at Millikin University in Decatur. Miss Sue Ellen Curvin of Oklahoma City, Okln. niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl and the candles were lighted by Miss Marilyn Otth of Jerseyville and Miss Charlotte McConathy of White Hall.

W. Don Allen of Rockford best man for his brother. William Bunten of Chicago, D. C. Curvin of Oklahoma City, brother-in-law of 'groom, and Smith Thompson of Rockford, a cousin, were ushers.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her elder brother, Stanley Howell of Hampton, who gave her in marriage. Her gown of heavy duchesse satin was of the Florentine period design. The fitted bodice £ad a deep lace yoke, pointed in front and back, cut to a high rounded neckline, and long tapering ileeves ending in points at the wrist. The full skirt was made with a bustle back and flared into a long train. Her finger-tip veil fpll from a halo of lace and had a modesty veil in front and she carried an arm bouquet of white roses.

The attendants' gowns were of mouseline de sol and were styled alike. The snug bodice had a rounded neck and short puffed sleeveS'capped at the shoulder with upstanding ruffles and the floor length swirts were finished at the waist With peplums. The maid of honor matron of honor were in blue. They carried arm bouquets of blue carnations and wore wreath.s matching flowers in their hair. The bridesmaids' gowns were yellow and their were yellow carnations.

The frock of the flower girl was patterned after the dresses of the other attendants in blue and she wore a headdress of matching satin and carried a blue satin basket filled with rose petals. Miss Otth's and Miss McConathy's gowns were form fitting, of blue taffeta with off-shoulder necklines outlined by deep bands of material. Following the wedding a reception was given at the home the bride's mother near Jerseyville. The bride was graduated from Jersey Township High School in 1945 and attended Knox College in Galesburg and Illinois College, Jacksonville. Gibson of Godfrey township, who had been a patient for more than a year at Alton Memorial Hospital, and who passed her 102nd birthday last April 15 's ranldly growing weaker at the hospital, it was said today by her nephew, William Howarth.
