Frederick W. Andrews, Il Of Dover, died Wednesday, January 12, 2000 in General Hospital, 85. He was born on September 24, 1914 in Fairhaven, MA, son of the late Edwin H. Andrews and Sadie M. Beals Andrews.

Mr. was a graduate of Harvard Univers. sity, Class of 1936 and held a degree in chemistry. He began his working career in Akron, OH with the B.F. Goodrich Company and later held a position as executive president with Playtex and ILC of Dover, retiring in 1969.

He was active with the Kent General Hospital board on which he served as president for 4 years. He was an avid golfer and a member of Maple Dale Country Club, woodworker and loved to travel. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Teryll "Terry" Andrews Records in August 1995. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, JoAnn Andrews; a sister, Shirley Pernie of Houston, and Nene nephew, Douglas D. Pernie of York, NY.

Arrangements by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming. Howard L. Beatty Age 80, of Wilmington, died Wednesday January 12, 2000 in the Christiana Hospital.

Mr. Beatty was a driver for Anchor Motor Freight, retiring in 1973 after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Eureka DuPont Masonic Lodge, a member of Delaware Consistory 32nd Degree and was involved in the European Theatre in WWII and Northern Africa. He was a member of Teamster Union He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Eleanor W. Beatty; his sons, Howard L.

"Bill" Beatty and Robert L. Beatty, both of Rising Sun, MD and David Tilghman of Salisbury, MD; his daughter, Barbara Anderson of Salisbury, MD; his grandchildren, Carlotta, Robert, Robin, Dawn, Debbie, Cole and Cindy; his great grandchildren, Mike, Megan, Jed, Cassidy, David, Jamie, Natalie and Jessie. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, N. Age 58, of Altus, OK, died suddenly on December 26, 1999. He was a graduate of Salesianum High School, the University of Delaware and the Temple University School of Dentistry. After serving in the US Air Force, he practiced dentistry in Altus for 26 years. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Southwest Oklahoma Dental Association where he served as former president. Dr.

Binck was the son of the late Walter J. Binck, Sr. who died on December 31, 1999 and the late Marie Mulrine Binck. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis Hembree; 2 sons, Brian W. Binck, M.D.

and Michael J. all of Oklahoma; a brother, William F. Binck of Delaware City; and a sister, Nancy Press of Hockessin. A memorial mass for Dr. Binck will be celebrated at Salesianum High School on Saturday January, 15, 2000 at 10 a.m.

Mr. Granan was born on November 5, 1931 in Reading, PA to John and Mariam Granan. He attended Reading public schools, graduating from Reading High School in 1949. Following graduation, he and several friends joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. They were called to active duty during the Korean Conflict and stationed at Dover Air Force Base.

He served there on active duty, in 1952, then joined the Delaware Air National Guard, serving until 1988, a total of 36 years, retiring with the rank of Lt. Colonel. He married Florence Ann Hubbard of Dover in 1951. They became the parents of 2 daughters and grandparents of 5 grandchildren. They were married for 48 years.

He graduated from the University of Delaware in 1959 and received his Masters degree in 1962. He furthered his education receiving an additional 45 plus credits in administration. Most of his educational employment was in the Smyrna School District, where he served as teacher, elementary principal at Clayton Elementary School, and administrative assistant for the School District, retiring in 1989. He had also served as principal in the Milford School District at Lakeview Elementary School for 2 years. Bowling was his favorite hobby, and he, participated in yearly Air National Guard tournaments throughout the country for the past 30 years.

He and his wife used these times to travel leisurely to various areas for extended vacations. They both visiting Assateague, VA, and for the past 15 years vacationed in Clearwater Beach, FL, following the Phillies and rooting from the seats behind the dugout. Mr. Granan is survived by wife of 48 years, Florence 'Hubbard Granan; 2 daughters, Gayle Ann Pusey of Dover and Cathy Lynn Price of Smyrna; grandchildren, Jessica Pusey, Amy and Allison Chadwick, and Matthew and Sarah Mills. Hammond was born in Melrose, MA to the late Walter and Agnes Nichols. She was a graduate of Melrose High School and Boston School of Domestic Arts and Science. Mrs. Hammond was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Bridgeville, DE for 54, years, and had served as President the W.S.C.S., the society. She was an early president of the Nanticoke Hospital Auxiliary and a founding member and officer of the Woodbridge Art League.

She served as a Girl Scout leader of the Bridgeville Troop in the 1940's, and as a volunteer teacher of lip-reading techniques to residents at the Methodist Manor House in Seaford, DE. Her husband, Dr. John C. Hammond, died in 1996. Mrs.

Hammond is survived by a son, Jack Hammond of Riverside, Millsboro, DE; a daughter, Kay H. Lewis of Bridgeville; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. David Barry Healey is now out of the body and present with his LORD Savior on the 13th day of January. Left with precious family remembrances is his beloved, CHERISHed and (devoted) wife of 39 marvelous years (or almost 4 decades), Donnalee (Todd) Healey. He also leaves behind his wonderful endearing mother, Edna Mae (White) from Old Forge, PA.

His brother, James, departed this world for Heaven followed by his father, Thomas, Mr. Healey revered adored his adult children and their 4 loved and spoiled progeny. Mourning the loss is his younger daughter, Audrea Paige with her (daughter) Audriana residing in New Castle; and older son, Tod Landon with his wife Donna Lee and their youngsters, Tod Landon, Jr. from Wilmington, and Ashley Austin from Greenville, NC, along with his only nephew James with his wife Ann and their son Shawn from Stanton, Margaret Rogers (Healey) from Elmhurst also shares the grief of her nephews departure yet rejoices in our celestial reunion. McCormick was a WWII veteran and was employed at Hercules for 38 years, where 18 of those years were spent in the San Francisco office. He retired in 1979 as Traffic Manager. He was an avid golf enthusiast. He worked a volunteer at the McDonald's LPGA Championship for 10 years. He loved his family and enjoyed his friends.

Mr. McCormick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Augusta; 3 sons, Capt. Gary McCormick and his wife Nancy stationed at Keesler AFB, David and his wife, Joann of Williamsburg, VA, Wilmington, DE; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Christina and Suzanne; 2 sisters, Laura Jones of Oxford, PA and Elsie Woodward of Newark, DE, and a brother, Robert, also of Newark, DE. Marjorie Purner McDonald Age 83, of Foulk Manor North, formerly of Sharpley, died on Tuesday January 11, 2000. Born in Town Point, MD, she graduated from Chesapeake City High School and Beacom College. She worked for 15 years for Charles C. Kurtz Sons, a real estate company where she was assistant treasurer. She was a member of the Mt.

Lebanon U.M. Church. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Malcolm A. a McDonald; 2 daughters, Jeanne M. and husband Mark Brennesholtz of Emerald Isle, NC and Gail M.

Olivero John C. Olivero, who built, owned and operated several area motels over the course of the nearly 45 years in the hospitality industry, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at Manor Care in Pike Creek. He was 88. John, of New Castle, was born in Cassine, Italy. He came to America as a child with his family, settling in Penns Grove, NJ.

In the 1930s, slaten built the Royal Oak Hotel on Road, in Delaware, which he operated into the 1940s. The Royal Oak included a restaurant, banquet room, and cocktail lounge, and served as Greyhound bus terminal for the New Castle area. John and his wife, Teresa, moved to Odessa, DE, in the 1940s. It was there that John built and operated the Pleasant Hill Motel and the Odessa as well as The Hearth Restaurant. During the late 1960s, the Oliveros moved to the New Castle area, where he owned several motels and a diner before retiring in 1975.

The Oliveros were devoted to Our Lady of Fatima Parish, where they enjoyed singing and were active in the Parish Council. In the early 1990s, John became known as "The Donut Man" at Fatima, where he gave donuts to one and all after Mass. He also shared donuts at several area senior centers, including Fraim and Weston. John looked forward to rejoining Teresa, his wife of more than 50 years, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.

John will be missed by the many friends and loving family members he leaves behind: his son, Pierre and daughter-in-law, Peggy, who cared for him; a sister Mary Del Campo; his 5 grandchildren, Susan Hopkins, Karen Gray, Peter Olivero, Donna Olivero-Walker Joseph Olivero; and 6 happy great grandchildren. Pack was born in South Hampton, England on August 24, 1908. At age 14, he went to work for the Cunard Line serving on their ocean liners, including the Mauretania and Aquitania. While with Cunard, he trained to become a chef. Mr. Pack came to the United States in 1928 and married his wife, Jeanette in 1938.

During World War, Il, he served in the United States Army in the South Pacific as a mess sergeant under General MacCarther. Mr. Pack continued in: his career as a chef, most recently with Oliver's Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, until retiring at the age ofn 90. He is survived by his wife of 61t years, Jeanette (Teoli) Pack; his children, Royerik Pack of Los Angeles, CA, John Pack of Greece, his brother, John Pack of Engand Elizabeth Line, of Wilmington; land; his sister, June Warner of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, i Erik, Blythe, Gabriel and Venessa.
