Oswald died at his home in Gas City Saturday evening after several years of failing health. He was 58 years old. Mr. Oswald was born and raised in Yates Center and was in the oil fields and on; pipeline construction. jobs as a tool dresser.

In 1939 he and his family moved Iola and in 1941 he joined the local crew of the State Highway Department, working until ill health forced his retirement two, lor three years ago.
