West Age 68 of Wilmington, DE went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 14, 2005.

Ruth worked at the Fairfield Inn on Churchmans Rd. where retired in 2000, previously she worked at Dunkin Donuts for many years. She loved visiting Delaware Park and painting beautiful pictures. Ruth also enjoyed gardening but mostly she loved her family and dedicated her life to them. is survived by 6 daughters, Nancy Krim of Delaware City, Linda Prather and her husband, Don, of Newark, Karen Lynch and her husband, Tom, Terry Griscom, Dawn Tapp and her husband, Ron, and Elaine Foster and her husband, Rich, all of Wilmington; 3 brothers, Harold E.

Smith, Connard R. Smith and Charles F. Krim, all of Wilmington; 12 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. West was death by her husband, Milton L.

West; a son, Brian L. West; her daughter, Donna A. Ben was predeceased by his father, Benjamin J. DiCampli, in 2002; and his brother-in-law, Robert Mackinder. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim V. DiCampli; his sons, Dr. Dennis J.

Rita was a wife, homemaker, sister and mother, but she most enjoyed her role as grandmother and she was affectionately called "Noni" by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was born in Philadelphia, PA but moved very early in her life to Chadds Ford, PA, where her father had a mushroom business. It was at this early stage in her life where she became a devout parishioner at St. Cornelius RC Church.

After she married, she and her husband built a home on this same property as her father's, where they raised their family, and after his passing, she shared that same home with her constant companion and loving caregiver, her daughter, Anna Her neighbors included her 2 sisters and their families and her grandson and his family. Vocational Rita High graduated School from Brown. mington, DE in 1942 fort and worked at the Dupont Co. 6 years before beginning her family and becoming very active in her community a member of St. Cornelius 'RC church (past president of the Sodality and member of the Women's Club) and in politics, most especially as Minority Inspector for Chadds Ford, township from 1952-1986.

She enjoyed cooking Italian, sewing and watching her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren grow. She was also an excellent dancer early her life and participated in shows and contests. Rita's home was a special place where all gathered for not only special occasions but for every day close family life. Her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren enjoyed being at Noni's for visits, her special meals and holiday gatherings. Having family close by was one of the most important aspects other life.

One and all, family and friends, were always welcome at any time for a good meal and some story telling about the "olden Rita was predeceased by her parents, John and Rose (Masciantonio) DiMedio; and her husband 'of 38 years, Vincent who died in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Marie, whom she lived; her sons, Mark" J. and his wife, Linda, of Wilmington, DE and Vincent Jr. and his wife, Karla, of Merchantville, NJ; her grandchildren, Christopher M. and his wife, Jackie, of Chadds Ford, PA, Renee DiSabatino and Lyndsey DiSabatino; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She is alSO survived by her brother, Leon DiMedio and his wife, Marie, of Chadds Ford, PA; sister, Marie DelGrande of Chadds Ford, PA; sister, Rosalie Lovell and her husband, Edward, of Chadds Ford, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Oliphant Middletown, DE It is with deepest regret that the Oliphant family must inform you of the passing of Don on Wednesday, October 12, 2005. Donald was the beloved husband Barbara and the proud father of Robyn, Tami, Jacki, James, Angle and Joe. Don was a passionate man whose love for his family, friends and acquaintances superceded all thoughts of himself. You might know him as the "Soda Man" who brought cold drinks and wet towels to the homeless on the street in the heat of summer or as that man in the coffee shop who really cared about you and wanted to help you in any way he could. Don was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, December 16, 1942, the son of George Oliphant and Marie Olsen.

Growing up in Medicine Hat, Don was an avid golfer. His passion for golf won him the Canadian Junior Golf Championship. His love of people and desire to make a difference in this world inspired him to pursue his teaching degree at the University of Lethbridge, in Alberta, Canada. As a high school and college teacher, Don inspired his students to excellence in life. After his marriage to Barbara in 1975, he moved to DE where he continued to use his gift of hospitality to inspire and care for all those in need.

Don's legacy is that he was able to positively impact so many lives and save so many souls. Don is survived by his wife of 30 years Barbara Petrucci phant; his children, James Oliphant of Newark, DE, Joseph Oliphant of Middletown, DE, Robyn Sykes Hat, Alberta, Canada, Tami Oliphant of London, Ontario, Canada, Jacki Taunton of London, England Angelene Oliphant of Middietown, DE; his brothers, David Oliphant and Dale Oliphant, both of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Daniel Dominick Rappa Age 81 of Wilmington, DE passed gently into the night surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 15, 2005.

Born in Pedricktown, NJ, Mr. Rappa was the son of the late Dominick, Sr. and Elizabeth (Prentiss) Rappa. He served his country during World War Il in the U.S. Army.

A general contractor, homebuilder land developer, Mr. Rappa was the proprietor of Longwood Construction and Daniel Rappa, Inc. His former memberships included the Delaware Homebuilders Association, the New Castle County Examining Board of Plumbers and the MidCounty Senior Center. He enjoyed politics and was active in the Democratic Party. He looked forward to Spring so he could plant his vegetable garden.

He also enjoyed owning and racing thoroughbred and harness horses along the East Coast. Mr. Rappa was a loving and generous man and wonderful husband and father. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rappa was predeceased by his brothers, Dominick, John and Albert his sister, Georgianna Priolo; and his former spouse, Gertrude (Russell) Rappa.

He will be missed by his wife of 37 years, Joan Rosboshil Rappa; his children and their spouses, Daniel, Jr. and Sherry Rappa, Trudy and Robert Pfister, Patricia and Pete Cullen, Elizabeth and Jake Krapf, Dominick D. Rappa, Albert Rappa, Joseph and Brenda Rappa and John and Jennifer Rappa. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, Sophie, Jessica, Valerie, Tami, Daniel, Ill, Vincent, Emily, Landyn, Hayden, Sydney, Madison, Mather, Greer and Joseph; and 2 greatgranddaughters, Zaylie and Azura. He also leaves his siblings, Dorthea Harris, Louise Bowman, Florence Whidby, Elizabeth Ellsworth, Nicholas Rappa, Sr.

and Joseph Rappa, adopted son, Marvin Newton; former spouse, Anna Theresa Hammons; and many nieces and nephews.
