a a a a a a John Joseph Roarty, Jr. Died Tuesday February 15, 2000 in St. Michael's Hospital, Stephen's Point, Wisconsin. John was born in Kingston, PA and lived in Newark where he graduated from Christiana High School in 1974. He entered the Navy in 1978 and served as a Corpsman for 20 years before retiring in 1998.

He served in the Gulf War and received many distinguished honors. John is survived by his wife of 3 years, Louise; 2 sons, Matthew and Robert; 1 daughter Kathleen from a previous marriage. He is also survived by his parents, John and Helen of Newark; 3 brothers, Kevin of Centreville, VA, Eugene and Brian of Newark; 3 sisters, Louise Roarty of East Petersburg, PA, Helen Pasqual of Baltimore and Beth Roarty of Newark; his maternal grandmother, Helen C. Karolchyk of Larksville, PA; 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 10 a.m.

Rogalewicz Age 64 of Newark, DE, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2000 at her home. Mrs. Rogalewicz had been a waitress for Oliver's Restaurant (formerly The Horseless Carriage), Newark, retiring in 1998 after 33 years service. She was an active member of the Newark United Methodist Church, where she had served with the Altar Guild and many other church committees and ministries. Mrs.

Rogalewicz was also involved in her community as a member of the Todd Estates Civic Association, as a founding parent of the Newark Stars Ice Hockey Team in the early 1970's, and as a dedicated volunteer at polling places during local and national elections. She is survived by her husband of 42, children, years, Martin Ronald K. P. Rogalewicz; and his Eileen Elkton, Rogalewicz, MD, Ida M. Maconeghy and her husband David of Scranton, PA, Jean Ann Crowe and her husband Bill of Newark, Allan P.

Rogalewicz of Newark, Linda S. Wasson and husband James of Newark; sister, Shirley M. Piazza of Scranton, PA; brother, Martin J. McDonough of Fairfax, VA; 9 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 9 am Friday, February 18th at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 121 West Park Place, Newark.

Mr. Stayton was born April 23, 1926 to the late Thomas Stayton Lulu May Deputy Stayton. Mr. Stayton retired from active farming in 1967 due to his health. He worked for Kent County as Landfill Supervisor and retired in 1981.

He also owned and operated A Uniform Shop in Milford and Dover from 1976 to 1992. He was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Ivens and 2 brothers, Harold and Roland Stayton. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anna Grier Stayton; 2 daughters Linda L. Stayton of South Coventry, PA and Beatrice Conrad of Smyrna, DE; 1 son, H. Grier Stayton of Lincoln, DE; 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter; twin sister, Janet S.

Parosky, 65, of New Castle, DE, formerly of Hazelton, passed away peacefully February 14, 2000 at Christiana Hospital. Mr. Parosky had been a Foreman with Delmarva Power Light, retiring in 1994 after 41 years service, and was a member of Delmarva Power Quarter Century Club. He was a Past Grand Knight of Bishop Becker Council 2856, Knights of Columbus, and a member of The Cardinal Gibbons Fourth Degree Assembly. Mr.

Parosky enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Delmarva Sportsmans Club. He loved being with his family and spending time with them in Florida and Indian Acres, MD. He was a devout member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, New Castle, and St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilmington.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sadie M. Hogan Parosky; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Bill Johnson of Biscoe, NC, daughter and son-in-law, Dana Ricky Serfass of Middletown, DE; grandchildren, C.B. Jennings, Brian Bowman, Denny Anna Burdsal Danielle Serfass; brother and sisterIn-law, Raymond Dorothy Parosky of New Castle; sister Paula McCluskey of Hazelton, PA; nieces nephews. Renshaw. She will be remembered for her love and compassion for her many friends and her family. Louise F. Richards Age 88 of Leesburg, VA, died January 26, 2000 in Loundoun County Hospital, Leesburg, VA. She was born June 22, 1911 in Luzerne, PA. Louise was the daughter of the late John and Anna Slinzer Grausam. She was a member of St.

Mary's Catholic Church, Canaan, NH. She was formerly of Newark, DE and Canaan, NH. Louise retired from Eckerds Pharmacy where she was a waitress. She is survived by a daughter, Louise Martin of Leetown, WV; 1 grandson, Gary Martin of NH; several nieces, nephews and grand aieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Garnet K.

She enjoyed oil painting, interior decorating, fine arts and antiques, sewing, needlepoint, gardening, cooking and entertaining family members and friends. Cremation followed her death.
