Seek Aid Spy STANLEY O. WILLIFORD Tlmti StiH writtr sKaname Shiraoda said he was exposed to an atomic bomb blast when he was 13. Today he complains of constant weariness. Mrs. Sumiko Oki said she wag exposed to an atom blast on Aug.

6, 1945. Three or four years later she developed a malfunction in a breast and had an operation. Later yet, a tumor developed and she had another operation. Mrs. Toshiko Yano lost a daughter to the bomb.

She believes her son is suffering from exposure to Soon after he was his hair fell out. Doctors have told her there is nothing wrong with him, but he gets weaker and weaker and cannot work, she said. None is certain, but all three suspect the problems they describe are attributable to exposure to the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan in 1945. The three are members of the Fellowship, of, the Victims of the Atomic Bomb, a newly organized, group of 85 known survivors now living in the Los Angeles area. Main Complaint; The group has one main complaint: there is no specialized analysis treatment provided here for victims of the atomic bombs which fell on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

In its first meeting, held last week at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Little Tokyo, members discussed their problems with Los Angeles County Coroner Dr. Thomas No-guchi and Dr. Jack D. Kirshbaum, head of pathology at West Valley Community Hospital and former member of the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission in Japan. "They have had considerable difficulties in many ways," said Dr.

No-guchi. "They need periodic checkups, like those offered through ABCC in Japan. Here they have not been able to find specialists who truly understand the effects of atomic radiation." Some, such as Mrs. To-moe Okai, who organized the fellowship, have traveled to Japan every few years for treatment or checkups. Joint Effort The ABCC is a joint effort between the United States and Japan and medical services are provided all survivors free of charge.

Dr. Kirshbaum explained that all persons who were exposed to radiation are routinely examined every two years in Japan, including blood studies and some X-rays. "But physical condition is not the only important factor," he said. "In Hiroshima, social workers listened to the complaints of survivors who had no physical defects at all." Dr. Kirshbaum said he had written the ABCC for advice, but had not received a reply yet.

Dr. Noguchi suggested the group might push for resolutions within the Los Angeles City Council or the County Board of Supervisors for programs which would provide free medical consultation. a 1 mm hoop earrings Reg.
