Meade, age 68 of New Castle, DE died on Friday, February 28, 2003 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. Mr. Meade was born in Blue Sulphur Springs, WV and had worked as a foreman for Magnus Construction Company for 37 years, retiring in 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War Il and enjoyed his family and grandchildren.

He attended St. Paul Catholic School and Howard Career Center, earning his high school diploma in 1984. Afterward, he attended the Delaware Technical Community College for 2 years.

He was employed for several years by Chase Manhattan Bank in DE and New York City, NY. Currently, he worked for Amazon.com. He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Silva, Sr. in June 2000.
