Signboard Hill Productions, a Hallmark Cards Inc. subsidiary, has agreed to co-produce 10 made-for-television movies for the ABC Television Network. The movies will be aired in two-hour time slots, probably on Saturday evenings during the 1994-95 season, said Brad Moore, president of Signboard Hill, which is based in Kansas City.

The movies likely will be adult dramas. This marks the first movie venture for Signboard Hill outside of the Hallmark Hall of Fame series. Signboard Hill was formed early last year to produce movies and documentaries, partly to use the expertise that has built up through the production of the Hall of Fame movies. Signboard Hill will co-produce the 10 movies with RHI Entertainment a Hollywood producer. The two have worked several times before, most recently on the 177th Hall of Fame presentation, called "Blind Spot" starring Joanne Woodward.

Moore said Signboard Hill last week started its first solo production, a Hall of Fame feature called "Breathing Lessons" starring James Garner and Joanne Woodward. Filming is in Pittsburgh.
