When the books of County Officers were audited, several years ago, Mr. Streeper's accounts were found to be absolutely correct. Mr. Streeper has outlined a plan of administration he intends to give the Sheriff's office, if elected, so plain that anyone can understand.

He will have the backbone to rid the County of festering sores of road and gambling houses that are proving to serve as meeting and hiding places for gangsters from St. Louis and Chicago, who prey upon our population and whose prosecution is proving to be such an expensive item to the tax payers of Madison County. That murderers and robbers find their haven in these places has been so clearly and conclusively proven in the recent trial of the murderers of Deputy Sheriff Nalty that no one can question it. 'A Mr. Streeper will give the County officers the heariy support and co-operation that is so much needed for the i proper administration of the various offices in the county.
