The sheep have made good, and not only are they keeping the Erass mowed, but the animals, pack the ground on the course and make it hard and lirm. The sheep also have visited the new course, which has been abandoned because of tiie rank growth of alfalfa. For the past year the club have, tried to kill the alfalfa, but their work iias been fruitless. If the sheep spoil the alfalfa, their troubles will end, but if the animals fail, the entire course will be ploughed up next fall.
