FOtfKTiDSN ALTON fiVSMMtd 1-KLBQRAlPtt Wood Riyer Sewer Roll Almost Ready For Confirmation Feat i'or Lives of Persons Marooned on Bridge Court Order Held Up By Minor Changes to Be Made EDWABDSVILLE, June 3, a few minor adjustments remained to be made today in the assessment roll (or the $412,000 Wood River trunk and relief sewer before an order could be entered by the county court clearing the way for calling of bids. The order was ready for Judge Tram' signature today when Corporation Counsel Manning of Wood River, representing the board of local Improvements there, agreed with C. E. Oueltlg, representing part of the objectors, on a few minor adjustments. Judge Trares then Instructed th attorneys to embody these change in the assessment roll before affixed his signature.

While here this morning Manning said he expected the bids to be opened June 12 by the board of local Improvements. Objectors arid counsel for the board of local Improvements have been conferring recently in an effort to reach some agreement on the assessment roll to be. embodied court order confirming It. The project Is to be financed by Public Works Administration loan and grant. 0.

S. Davidson, Former Dow Resident, Dies WOOD RIVER, June S. Davidson, 19, formerly of Dow, father of Mrs. O. F.

Hendrickson, died at St. Vincent's Home in Belleville, at 12:45 Sunday. Beside Mrs. Hendrlckson, a son, Harmon Davidson of Dow; three grandchildren; a brother, C. L.

Davidson, near Springfield; and a sister, Mrs. Nettle Whltler of San Diego, survive. Short funeral'services will be held at Reifenberg funeral home in Carlinvllle at 1 p. m. Tuesday.
