Twombley, Widower of Actress, Dies Eugene Twombley, 52, motion picture sound technician and husband of the late television comedienne, a Benaderet, died Thursday after suffering what coroner's autopsy surgeons said was a massive heart attack. Mr.

Twombley, of 1299 Blairwood Drive, Studio City, died shortly after being admitted to Good Samaritan Hospital, where Miss Benaderet died Sunday of complications resulting from lung cancer. His stepson, Jack Ban-non, 27, of 2020 Laurel Canyon said Mr. Twombley had been severely depressed since attending Miss Benaderet's funeral services in Van Supt. George P. Chaffey said the requirement of 15 new buses and 45 new routes would create a financial hardship.

Chairman of GE Dies NX () Gerald Phillippe, chairman of the board of the General Electric Thursday in a hospital in Greenwich, Conn. He was 59. Phillippe was taken ill at a restaurant Wednesday night in Greenwich, GE headquarters here said. He lived in Scarsdale, N.Y., and had a speaking gagement Wednesday in New York City. He had been board chairman since 1963.
